I like your approach. It strikes me as humane, fair, and workable. I also think its compatible with the most important freedoms and liberties. I'm going to go back over it when I've had some sleep.
I've neglected my education in political philosophy and theory. It's only been relatively recent that I've gotten very interested in it. Your post could be useful to me in getting me started on looking into these things. I'm daunted though by the sheer volume of information I have yet to digest.

I started my T-shirt giveaway today. But the holidays have driven off the commentators. My blog is as slow as most everyone else's.
I've been trying to work my way into a higher state of consciousness by eating a whole bag of potato chips in one day. I began this morning and I'm nearly finished. So far, though, no higher consciousness.

Hey, Lyn, please give serious consideration to introducing yourself in the About You page on my blog. The reason is as a favor to me. You need not say much of anything about yourself really, but if and when I ever need to present that blog as evidence to a publishing house that a book of mine might sell, the fact I had some response to my About You page might be significant. On the other hand, if you don't feel comfortable doing it, then that's fine too.
