    My college major was philosophy, and I've kept an interest in it for the years since. Unfortunately, that has sometimes resulted in my dismissing somethings as "obvious" simply because I'm too familiar with them to see that they are not really all that obvious. I am very sorry for my foolish remarks in that thread. Please forgive me.
