    Thank you for the message. :D I am doing well, just realizing that this recovery is hugely mental as well as physical and even the smallest amount of "pushing it" can leave you in pain. Overall, going very smoothly so far though.

    In the effort to bid for something we assumed had more value than its face value (which it did not) we both exceeded the face value -- and lost something. You lost less because you bid $21 and got the $20 gold piece. I bid 20.50, and since I was the second bidder (who also gives the bid price to Sam,) I lost 20.50. (You would be better off not splitting it with me and simply losing $1 in value, but I'll still let you buy, 'cause I'm nice!)
