Yep, it means a lot to admit fault, make apologies (and refund), and fix the problem rather than say something stupid like "it must have been a flu going around". Dumb.
They said they catered another party the same night and weekend and no one else complained. They're morons. Little do they know how powerful "word of mouth" is.
catered to someone's house, yes from a restaurant...it's a very well-known one too. We've used them plenty of times. When the host called them, they denied it of course.
I meant to say all but 5 out of the 30ish guests got sick. Out of my family, only two fully escaped it.
They're recovering, thankfully. As it turns out, all but about 5 people got food poisoning. I was one of the lucky ones; I had it very mild...so glad it's over.
Yes, food poisoning is the pits. Hubby is in the ER getting hydrated as we speak. At least we know what the culprit was.
