  • no i understand what you mean and thanks for sharing, Christianity isnt the most secular friendly religion, but it does have its charms, hence we are still around. ;)
I dont know an aweful lot about the specific anglican churches, all i can really add is that we shall see, i dont wanna make any rash, uneducated guess on this front :( but gotta have hope right Sene?
good so we at least in agreement that it isnt these kinds of issues but just the politics of anglicanism that seems to be causing the issues. I guess that is just how things go, clearly there is gonna have to be a lot of discussion and renewal, poor poor Rowin, he has his work cut out for him XD
not just on the homosexuality issue, but just how anglicanism is treating certian strands within itself, this stuff was boiling around for a while the homosexuality issue just broat it to a head. and how has my statements led you to your second question? i can see it going through strains if it tries to go through fundamentalists views, considering that there are trends of both in anglicanism why cant both scenarios be possible
ohhh heck no, anglicanism is nearly falling appart because of the contrivery within it. I dont bother trying to find a mould, i dont agree fully with anglicanism but im not going to change just because i dont agree. that seems quite elitest
"I dont agree with everything you say so i outta here" doesnt seem to tolerate difference.

Christianity isnt about being a member of a group thats just like you, its about choosing to love people dispite disagreements.
ohhh i didnt take it as one, I jsut find it frustrating when people fling around statements like "conservative" or "liberal" peoples views seem to be too complicated than that. I have liberals views and conservative views.

what i would consider Anglican diet is someone who is in the anglican church yet doesnt quite "fit the mould" so to speak. at least in my view
well do you think that broad brushing me conservative because of the limited opinions you know of me is fair? thats what i always seem to get, conservatives think im a crazy liberal who is too focused on reason and not the bible, while the liberals think im some hate mongering fundamentalist. but heck i dont care, label me what you want, I know the spectrum of anglicanism and I am not the worst by far.
I'm pretty sure that India has interacted with many societies. there are ancient Hindu temples and artifacts found all over the world from ancient times. And there are striking similarities with Hindu and Greek gods. Poseidon, for instance, has a trident as does Varuna, god of the sea (and so does Shiva). Indra is the god of the heavens, he controls the rain and storms and has a lightning bolt, same a Zeus. Hercules is often compared to Bhima, who is mighty strong and a demi-god (half god/half human).
    There are many, many similarities.
Your ideas and religion really intrigue me. I know next to nothing about your religion and even you! Shame, shame. May I ask, what brought you to your religion? Are there many people who follow this religion?
Ha! Thanks, but believe me, I get plenty upset! I hope that most of the time I can manage to rein it in long enough to have some civil discourse before devolving into irate growling, but I make no pretenses! Still, it's awfully nice of you to say.
how about you reference that the majority of Muslims DO what Shari'a. i'm not the one making claims here.
Oh and "wanting" something and implementing it is quite another...and you know it. ;)
When did you become so different? Are you really judging "most" Muslims based on the few you asked and the few on the web? Don't tell me what "I know". I know the majority of Muslims if not all don't want sharia law at all, so where does that leave us? You weren't so full of dislike before... Sad.
Odion if you remember far back enough I already did combine them together once, but then I decided to leave Buddhism awhile. Something I felt I should return to.
