  • Dharma and Gnosis? I thought I was the only one who figured this out. It is odd you have came to this conclusion like myself
    Haha, awesome!

And yeah, I expected as much. As I was told, some UUers are afraid of the word God after all, so if that's mentioned they'd probably just glaze over.

    Do share in Comparative Religion.
Or Theists Only, depending on whose perspective you want. :D
Breathe and Meditate | Musings of a Madman If interested. Nothing really on it yet though. :)
    Started it. :D

It's on Wordpress; I have a lot of experience using Wordpress so I'm comfortable with it. :)
Yeah well I think I narrowed down the religions to Neopaganism and Hinduism. I still don't know which branches though.

With Neopaganism it's a little easier, I could take the same road as Quintessence, worshipping Nature spirits and such that I feel and like... Or could go with Celtic, since it's a bit part of my heritage and I'm in the UK, which is fitting. Either way, it's very fitting to my tree hugging and nature loving soul.

With Hinduism, I really love Krishna (who doesn't?) and I prefer Vishnu over Shiva... I've also come across Kali quite a bit this year. She scares me though.

But IDK how people choose (or are chosen?) to worship specific deities? And with either path, I don't know where to start... I know some basics but IDK how to worship and such.
Ironically, Qur'aniyyah (yeah, Qur'an Alone Islam) is big in India, Pakistan, Nigeria (Kala Kato, "A (mere) man said it"), and Egypt, I think. It may also be in Indonesia or Malaysia, too. I did have the stats before but can't find them now (typical). :)

Maliki is a form of Islam common in North Africa. IMO, it's a lot easier going than some forms of Islam, especially the ones in my area, which is Deobandi, Mawdoodi, Wahhabi/Salafi. Another form I'm interested in is Hanafi. In other words, the more liberal forms interest me more. Rules and I have never got on well. :)
    Hope you enjoyed Spain. :)

Yeah, UUism is wonderful but a bit dry. I've heard from some adherents that many are afraid of the "big G" word. The problem is that it sounds if so like it's going to be little more than a community centre. Unfortunately it didn't take off here though.

I've been looking primarily into Sufism recently, but I'm also looking at Qur'aniyyah and Maliki. :)
I expect offerings of tacos and/or accolades which may be in the form of frubals or just telling people what a great person I am how much you agree with me :p Of course, should you acquire power of any real sort we can revisit that. :D lol
