I have never given the dinosaurs much thought, I have to admit I didn't know Australlia still had them! I knew they had goannas but not full sized dinos.

While I am sure a baby brontosaurus would be charming, unless stephen spielberg has lied to me in the medium of blockbuster movies they grow quite big as adults. Though he did lie to be about the nature of extra terrestrials (they are a lot more probey and less cute than portrayed on ET)

Maybe you can get a pet chicken which is like a dinasaur only more manageable and gives breakfast ingredients, and think of the fun Baggins would have humping a chicken!
