Then you will be impressed with langar. They serve Indian food there (free). All vegetarian so anyone can eat it, but Indian food is excellent vegetarian food. :)
    Hahaha, yummy :D

Speaking of yummy, wait until you try the langar food :) Are you a fan of Indian food?
    Awesome, go for it!

I think you will be pleasantly surprised :)

Speaking of the Hindu and Buddhist centres, there is a street I call 'Dharmic Way' :)D) because it has a Hindu mandir, a Buddhist temple AND a Gurdwara on it.

Next to the Hindu mandir is a McDonalds
Next to the Buddhist centre is a KFC
Next to the Sikh temple is a car shop

Couldn't be much more inappropriate! :D
    I'm not entirely sure.
I feel closest to Sikhism though, I think.

Since we have a large (about 14% of my city) population of Sikhs in my city, this would probably be good. There's only one Hindu temple in my city I know of, and it's a bit far away for me.

    I live kinda like this:

    ............................ Mosque
    ............................|
    ............................|
    ............................|
    ............................/
    Sikh temple|----Church----Me----------Church
    ......................./
    ...................../
    ..................-
    .................-
    Sikh temple

On my street (effectively) are two churches and a Sikh temple, down the road from one of the churches is a mosque, and going 5 minutes left from the one Sikh temple leads to another Sikh temple. I'm spoilt for choice! :D
I'm impressed with what I read in the Guru Granth Sahib :)

Perhaps you could incorporate Taoist theology or philosophy with something else?
    Awesome, nice one!

What religions have attracted you most? Have you singled down the possibilities or anything? :)

I like Taoism a lot, but I don't think it's personally for me (although, like Buddhism, Ásatrú, Hinduism, Sikhism and Christianity, Taoism will also hold a special place in my heart), but if you feel it's right for you, I urge you to keep on reading into it :)
    Yeah, agreed!

Nothing new really thanks, just doing more research - especially into Sikhism. :) What about you?
I hope your parents will enjoy themselves when they go, and their minds will be put at ease. :)
Maybe it's because it's new to them and they don't know what to expect. It's a human reaction to something new. :)
    Aw, sorry to hear that!
Is there any particular reason they are reluctant?

Perhaps they will be put more at ease after they have been there and seen what it's like there. :)
