  • as an answer to your question. that requires very detailed answer YmirGF because it is not possible to generalize every single human being. but in general, meditation is used to accept yourself as you are. seeing good and bad as equal. as zenzero said people take satan and God as opposites of duality. good and evil are never the same. and in case someone choses to accept himself as he is, he can not purify his ego from vices. so to speak, most peple who meditate act like there is no war. according to me there is a war, serious war between vices of ego and conscience. simply sitting down and being quite is relaxing no doubt. but how are they going to turn vices into virtues by simply being a calm and quite? it would work once or twice but eventually they would either give into fear and anger.
    Friend YmirGF,
Check friend .lava post no. 51 in the ongoing thread on SUFISM.
    excerpt from her post:
all kinds of meditations, especially transandantal stuff, are short cut to have connection with satan. all the mantras that's being used specially OM, is to call demonic inspiration. beware of them. let me explain a little about this. people serch for oneness with meditation. the point they miss is that there are two directions. one goes to light and the other goes to dark. those meditation methods take people to dark. in years it gets darker. imagine complete darkness? it would feel like oneness since it is all dark. that is a trick of satan to people.

I've been rejecting all friend requests. Don't see the reason for it since we'll be encountering each other on the forums anyway.
No, indeed, Tashanic Truth, nor should you cringe at such intelligent discussions.
I mean, why you think i have to cringe from such discussions? What did you really mean?
no it wasn't an unussual lucid moment. and thanks for the frubals again.
maybe we are starting to agree with one another more often eh?:D
Hopefully it wasn't just an unusually lucid moment, Eselam. From my standpoint, it is only fair to reward you when you make some sembelance of sense.
someone's being nice all of the sudden? :D

thanks for the frubals YmirGF. maybe you too are not as bad as you seem. we can't judge a book by it's covers can we, it's too big a risk
In response to your frubals ;) It actually DOES feel that way quite a bit. Cant' say the wrong word without inciting a rage of 2 year old finesse :D lol!
Heehee, saving the world, one ignorance turned enlightenment at a time ;) And all before bedtime. That's awesome Paul! I've been considering stretching out my "wings" of light in an attempt to become more prepared for the One. (And all that's beyond it, of course.)

Interestingly, I'm a little apprehensive! I know, why should I be? I just feel, I guess, a little unworthy at this point because I've given up next to nothing in order to pursue this beautiful dream. I haven't meditated or expanded my consciousness in any sort of way beyond school and learning Chris a little bit. (He's an amazing teacher, but he's also learning at the moment :) )

In any case, I hope that I can talk with you about this sometime if you're available. :) Love ya cupcakeman!
Several years ago, a couple of friends were over and one of them was babbling about something or other. I listened and smiled and then simply dropped a few bombs on them. The lady was a bit taken back at having her ideas bounced back to her so clearly. A long time friend who was there, casually said to her, "Paul is a bodhisattva". (Sort of like how Mrs. Faulty would say of Manel, "Oh, he's from Barcelona!" As if that explained everything, lol.)

I remembered the incident awhile back and figgered, "what the heck."
It's a dirty job... but someone has to do it. ;)
