English. Biology. Physics. To name three...

But also measurement theory..... yes, he absolutely does not understand how science measures simple things like distances...

In the last 15 years, I wondered how creationists can so easily dismissed that species can over time, as thousands of or tens of thousands of generations...AND YET have absolutely no problem in believing in dust or clay can be instantly into a living human being, with no parents and no childhood.

Just as you cannot turn lead into gold in alchemy, God or no God, you cannot turn dust or clay into a living adult human, because this completely defy all known science.

What people called “miracle” is simply another word for “supernatural” or “magic”.

I am optimistic that the additional education available from the internet will help to end this ignorance. The one recent trend that might behind the recent failures is homeschooling. Home schooled children of fundamentalists tend to be shorted a bit in their education. Home schooled children do not tend to be taught critical reasoning. They are not able to fairly test ideas to see if they are right or wrong. The science education that they receive avoids anything besides the simplest of chemistry and physics. And if the parent teaching is lacking in math skills their children end up with the same handicap.

I wonder how many of our younger members here are victims of that sort of education. But even they cannot seem to avoid the internet.

It’s just such a shame that none of you bitter evolutionists can provide any legitimate evidence to prove the claim that humans came from apes, or fish, etc.

I will believe in a God in heaven before I believe a fairytale about fish turning into humans.

Get real.

Did fish create the earth and the planets too?

The bible says that the creator of existence created existence and everything existing within the existence.

Evolution claims that fish turned into apes and then apes into people.

The theory of Evolution has not even been around that long.

How does evolution explain the planets? The solar system, stars, the universe, black holes, the existence of time, space, etc.

Did all of those things evolve from fish too?

Why do you think that they had to? The Discovery Institute was the corrupt organization that was part of the Dover Trial. That was a case of a school that illegally tried to get creationist books into their curriculum. And the publisher of that crap was . . . The Discovery Institute.

When I say that life cannot come from a non-living source, I am talking about the universe and all of the other things mentioned as well.

The earth is alive. The universe is alive.

Existence is alive. Existence does not create itself. Nothing can create itself.

Nothing that is alive in this existence has created itself nor does anything have the power to do so.

Why does it matter how long a theory has been here? Wrong is wrong. The Bible has been shown to be wrong countless times.

And evolution does not explain the planets. Why would it? Evolution deals with how life developed on the Earth. Other sciences tell us how the planets formed.

Tell me what sort of schooling have you had?

If you want to claim that the burden of proof is upon you.

We can tell that there was no life on the Earth in its very early history. That life left a record over the aeons. The only explanation in existence for it is the theory of evolution.

Considering evolution is a theory of biology, and not cosmology, then it doesn't say anything about the planets or stars, because it won't because it's an entirely different field requiring study of entirely different subjects.
