  • Hi there! How are you?

I'm spending the day packing to move. I think I might be off line for two or three days. But I left you a blog post. :D Just thought I would telly you that. Have a good one!
Do you know about the science writer Ed Yong yet? My honest guess is he's going to be famous someday. He blogs here. One reason I mention him is because I stumbled across his very first blog almost the day he started it. He had about three readers back then and I was one of them. I kept telling him he was special. He kept telling me I was BSing him. Morale: I ain't BSing when I say someone is special, even if they themselves think I am. I'm just damn good at spotting talent. Damn good. And I'm modest about it. Really modest.

By the way, Ed is already famous. But I mean by "famous", that he will someday be stellar famous. Household name. Like David Attenborough is a Household Name in the UK and in some other places.
That is a wonderfully kind thing to say! You've made me so happy, and yet, I should in all decency be deeply concerned for the well being of anyone who experiences "a daily dose of Sunstone".
The guy from my ISP said that, if they had managed to get my password, they would most likely have sent all sorts of spam from my email account. I asked, "Does that mean everyone on my contact list would get an email from me telling them I recommend buying Viagra from a certain pharmacy?" And he says, "Yeah, you probably would have ended up the talk of the neighborhood."
What I ended up doing was calling my ISP back on a number I absolutely know is their number and then confirming that they have a record of my conversations with them today. I was, for a couple of reasons, suspicious that that two people I talked with earlier might not have been from their company. But now I'm happy.
Hey guess what! It turns out I was the intended victim of a phishing attempt. My ISP service provider just called me on the phone with the news. Naturally, I am now wondering if that's where it ends, or if the guy on the phone was a fake. But if he was for real, my email account was targeted for an elaborate phising attempt which was just now prevented from happening.
Does anyone ever get done all they want to get done?

I've spent the past hour online with my ISP's customer service. Ah! Good times!
