Should Religious leaders be involved in any form of public school employment

Proselytizing is already banned, two different issues, you don't have to be a Rabi or Priest to be proselytizing, and if you do you get fired. It's not discrimination. I said I would be ok with them being janitors, just not in teaching positions. It's allowing religion in thru the back...

    Forces of physics and God...

At this point there is no rational or scientific proof to support why I believe in ID, which is why I am careful to use such words as "point" or "suggest". And your right there is nothing immediately around you to suggest pretty much of any thing, so what? I am drawing no conclusions. When I...

    Would Jesus support Healthcare Reform?

I believe Jesus would support National Health Care, many of his focus points resemble socialism.

Should Religious leaders be involved in any form of public school employment

Sorry I am firm in my stand, I simply oppose any religion in schools. I did mention janitorial would be ok no?

    Forces of physics and God...

First of all do not confuse my usage of the term ID to that of the religious right. I do not seek to create a new science or prove the existence of God. I see many things that suggest ID for different reasons. This is not the best example but still worthy of a opportunity to sneak in my...

Should Religious leaders be involved in any form of public school employment

I would like to see all public schools remain secular as I would also like our government to be too. I am not atheist, but feel that way. Sorry if it rocks your boat or generalization of believers in general. I simply want religion out of schools and government. Placing clergy or pastors in...

Is God able to provide additional evidence that would convince more people to accept him?

There is no rational reasons to believe in a god(s). There is no evidence or proof, nor can there be. Belief is based on faith and personal experiences, you either have it or don't. In my case I believe there is a God, but I have little faith in religion in general and question every thing...

Should Religious leaders be involved in any form of public school employment

Where did I say they could not? They can be plumbers, painters, dishwashers, delivery drivers, deliver pizzas, newspapers, there are some positions that would simply appear to be a conflict of interest, schools are one of them unless we are talking janitorial which should not be a problem.

Should Religious leaders be involved in any form of public school employment

I think reason should prevail here. If your sick you go to a doctor, not a preacher. You go to school to learn about math, science, history and english. You go to church to worship and learn about what man has to say about God. So let's say your visiting your doctor and he walks in the room...

    Age of the Earth.

Sad but true. It's certainly a lot older then 6000 years old, or even 13k years old. Traditionalists, literalists, or what ever you want to call them, do not understand what they read so how can they understand science? I imagine they are still looking out for wolves in sheeps clothing...

    Forces of physics and God...

I would say this points to some form of Intelligent Design, but not necessarily the religious right definition of ID.
