I realize that the outsourcing debate has been had on this forum time and again, but I ask that it be brought up once more. I have an assignment in economics to have just this debate, and what better community to go to than the people at ReligiousForums? I have a few questions that I must...
 Worst. Parallel. Ever.
I was getting to the point that homosexuality is a sexuality common in different species, including homo sapiens. That's all I said. Interpret it how you wish, but I never took a moral stance there.
It commonly occurs in nature and it doesn't have any...
Let's get something straight here, homosexuality is naturally occurring and occurs in more species than just homo sapiens. The only thing in conflict here is a religious idea that wants to demonize those that are homosexual.
Notice that Random said "for the sake of discussion." Like I said earlier, if it's for the sake of discussion, who cares what you call something? A lot of discussions have prerequisites that include defining something, like many moral arguments. If you want to discuss whether or not something is...
I think I found the problem here (and it was my fault). I misread what is quoted above. I read it as if you were to say that nobody can get successful through immoral means, instead of some of the paths are closed and people aren't guaranteed to make it on these paths. My bad.
As far as those...
A few points here..
1) There are some neo-"Nazis" that are just rigid racist, nationalist, segregationists. Sure, that's really bad, but it's not a ban-able offense (in my opinion)
2) Again..swastikas have meanings to many religions that have nothing to do with Nazism
3) If I make a group in...
Who here is deciding what is good and what isn't? The neo-Nazis think they're good (not to mention religious groups that utilize swastikas, but that isn't entirely related), even if I don't. The free expression for neo-Nazis is limited. I realize that supported freedom of expression for a group...
I'm not an expert in the field of behavior and certainly don't know much about its links with sexuality.. so right now all that I know is that there are two conflicting studies (when is there not?). Taking into regard my lack of expertise here, if this study were true, okay. I would still be in...
Okay;
Then why do you like that they're forbidden? Should you "err on the side of free speech?"
That's one of the weaker arguments I've heard for this level of free speech restriction.. but then again, I haven't seen too many strong ones.
Well...THAT seems to be the position I would expect...
Restrictions are put on rights all the time for safety. Perhaps there should be a restriction on this industry. Maybe employers in this field should be forced to show the findings of the studies to potential employees.
And this is all on the presumption that you can track down the employers...
Seeing that I don't watch porn whatsoever, I can't comment on what pornography is the most popular. I have done some reading into fetishes due to my interest in the subject, and I'll presume that these fetishes all have their corresponding representation in pornographic videos.
This being said...
That makes a lot of sense as well. One defining characteristic of psychopathy is not staying interested in one particular task for extended periods of time.
That depends on the situation. In this situation, there are scientists all around that can attest to the ability of the scientific treatments and to the inability of the nonscientific ones. People are very well warned, yet they still go for it.
An accurate parallel would be another case of fraud...
Are they? Psychopaths are extremely good liars--able to conceal their true intentions extremely well. It would seem to me that someone like that would go for whatever path gets them the farthest. If that involves malice, they won't regret it. If it involves no malice, there isn't a barrier...
Greetings from an average nihilistic existential, atheistic, misanthropic, antisocial, borderline psychopathic, asexual schizoid.
I look forward to seeing you all in the forums.
