I don't see the point of religion. It detracts my focus from the here and now and that's where it needs to be. I feel the only reason peole cling to faith is because they're too afraid of reality.

What is the Sikh stance on tattoos? Many fundamental religions are against altering the body like that, but in some religions it is done almost ritualistically.

Most people I know who do confirmation don't make it important, that's why I see it that way. People seem to go through the rituals of religion without paying attention to beliefs or rules at all. Religion seems to be abused like that in todayy's society....
