which single issue do you think is most important

how about a good article on how easy or hard it will be in the future to consistently feed the human world

which single issue do you think is most important

Maybe I misunderstood you before, sorry about that. Well I think valuing both birth control and immigration make a somewhat uneasy match, but I think I've already written about that here. To add to that, do you think there are great chances that many immigrants coming here don't have more of a...

which single issue do you think is most important

I don't know, I read some books the border recently, and it isn't clear to me exactly what's been happening in the last 20 years. Generally I think people just keep coming here, and our politicians argue over how lenient it should be. I am not exactly interested in building a big border wall, or...

    I'm Leaving

I appreciate reading views on here that aren't on the left, and I think you made good posts, that I think I remember reading I don't have views that really line up with that many people probably, but that doesn't really affect me all that much any more.. I'm more dissatisfied with myself, I...

which single issue do you think is most important

Well it's complicated.. I think before we get to human rights, which is important, we have to really address what human nature actually is. It is good, I think, to maximize freedom in a context where it can be maximized, but what are we? Maybe to start with, I would say that all of us are...

which single issue do you think is most important

Yeah I don't really know if either party has the kinds of goals that ultimately question growth.. So until that happens, the talk will be about 'improving the economy,' and 'decreasing pollution' (restriction measures so more growth can happen). As to international affairs, it looks like things...

which single issue do you think is most important

All my life I've watched suburban developments, which are pretty big, go up over the land of bought out farms, here in the midwest. And now, we get ads talking about politicians wanting to control rising food prices. I suspect this area of the country has the best potential farmland. But show me...

which single issue do you think is most important

It's complicated, and there's a lot untangle with all of it, with room to agree and disagree on a lot, just within that framework I think. Like I said, grading 'earth health' as very important seems to be a constant for me, with many of the other political views getting wiggle room. It really...

which single issue do you think is most important

More housing = less arable land, so food prices go up... right? And our environment gets less. Right? So @fantome profane this is a piece of what I mean. It's just one example. Leftism, to me, is a gnarled contradiction. And Pogo, what makes things from overseas or elsewhere cost less exactly...

What is your opinion though, of ecological overshoot? Climate change is kinda like looking at the shadows on the ground, in regards to the bigger picture. I think 'climate change' arguments can also be to set up to challenge 'ecological overshoot,' in a fallacious way, I sense.

which single issue do you think is most important

Other movements have to make better arguments I guess.. I am not part of that movement, but I dislike a lot from the left, and plenty from the right. I am politically unrepresented myself

which single issue do you think is most important

I tend to be on board with that , it's probably one of the most consistent views I've had, although I haven't heard of that exact term before to describe it. Climate change is not exactly the same as that, I agree Any good books that you'd recommend..

no polls.. too lazy and too much work. Just what issue does it kind of come down to for you. Or if it is all of them at once, explain how that works please

    Immigrants, Matt 25:38-39, Trump/Vance

In my opinion, nomads should have rights, and such a lifestyle can be less invasive on the environment. I follow youtube channels that have nomads, and it's bad watching them struggle. But I don't where in the world it is that real nomadism is encouraged a lifestyle, and it also something that...

    Immigrants, Matt 25:38-39, Trump/Vance

The hospitality displayed in the verses was not novel, I don't think, in the context of ancient times. I would think that the new testament had a very broad custom as a source, where it was smart to offer food and lodging to travelers who could be an important source of news. They didn't have...

Do labor unions effectively mandate social stratification and balkanization?

I don't know.. I not sure if the concerns of truckers have changed all that much, since trucking started? I kinda think that if something's going to the supreme court, then the individual doing that has got a bit of an altruistic tendency in doing that. Whether they are right or wrong about the...

Are Americans disposed to fight a war against Russia?

well I kind of think that republicans might be for it as well, because in america, it seems like they were associated with wanting to engage in foreign disputes in the past, more than the democrats were. But the pancake has kinda flipped since then. I think they'd be for it, but at present they...

If God has free-will, then he's less likely to be attached to any single religion

Yeah I did ask it a few questions for the first time a month or two ago, and it was kind of a weird thing for me, so I put it down for a while, and only asked a couple things since. Kinda startling, but I don't really know if it's real intelligence or what. Is it more than a search engine, that...

If God has free-will, then he's less likely to be attached to any single religion

That's fine , and maybe my premise is flawed. Really what I want to do, is kind of search out for the connections between human theological activity. And I guess I don't expect it to make the easiest of sense. I sense that this thread is generally unpalatable. I'll re-frame a different variation...

Let's finally hash it out -- what religious liberties are Americans lacking?

That's really unfortunate if that happens But as far as free speech goes, and to try to tie it back to the thread topic, various religious liberties, some of which probably inevitably influence the greater culture.. I just think it does come back to the individual's will to be polite. Without...
