    Jesus will return in 2030

It means that a Christian's ability to interpret "the signs" is completely unreliable, which is why nobody pays them any attention.

Who are the People of God?

    LOL Touche!

Who are the People of God?

Are you saying that the Spirit of God is miraculously enabling you to read the texts in Hebrew and Greek?

Who are the People of God?

66 books? So, only the Protestant Bible? So which laws in that Bible? There are 613 laws just in the first five books. All of them? Or do you pick and choose?

    America isn't Christian

America is culturally Christian, and always has been, even though we have a secular government that protects minority religions. The three strands that made for the American ideology were Christianity, Deism, and the influence of the Enlightenment.

    Jesus will return in 2030

Christians have been saying that for 2000 years.

    Jesus will return in 2030

Do you know how many predictions various Christians have made regarding Jesus' return? And with each failed prediction, Christians lose more and more credibility. But hey, if you want to contribute to that downward trend, far be it from me to stop you.

If science is so great why hasn't it solved all of humanitys problems ?

Well, your remark assumes two things that are not true. 1. That all our problems are solved, or at least potentially so. 2. That science has either made some sort of claim that it will solve all our problems, or that it can reasonably be expected to.

Is the evolutionary doctrine a racist doctrine?

Originally? Shared features. Today? Genetics. You know how in a court of law, they can do DNA testing and have the results used in court? You know how you can do a DNA test to prove paternity? You know how a DNA test can give you your ancestral background? That same DNA testing is exactly...

Did the Church Fathers and other early scholars consider Genesis and the Pentateuch literal?

What is BAR? To be really honest, I know almost nothing about Origen and his teachings, even though he is a pretty big name in your religion. I know how he took Matthew 19:12 literally, and castrated himself. That tells me he wasn't quite right in the head, but then again sometimes you just...

If science is so great why hasn't it solved all of humanitys problems ?

Perhaps you could define what you mean by "atheist secular scientism." The reason I ask, is because there is often a lot of confusion over what is science and what is scientism. So I'm not really sure what you are trying to say.

Did the Church Fathers and other early scholars consider Genesis and the Pentateuch literal?

In no way shape size or form is a creation myth anything remotely similar to science.

    Abiogenesis Is Highly Unlikely

I'm not sure I would agree. I think everything in life has meaning, including mountains, rivers, wind, stars...

Is the evolutionary doctrine a racist doctrine?

Please speak only for yourself. This idea was never universally held, and has pretty much been tossed out by scientists today. It seems like every new study that comes out only reaffirms just how conscious of reality other species can be. The differences between humans and other great apes...

Did the Church Fathers and other early scholars consider Genesis and the Pentateuch literal?

Perhaps someone more familiar with all his many texts can better answer that question. I can only offer you this: "The account given in Scripture of the Creation is not, as is generally believed, intended to convey the idea that the Universe came into existence in the manner described...; for...

    Mansplaining the Metaphysics of Masculinity.

Philo was a Hellenized Jew. He would have absorbed the extreme misogyny of Greek culture. This was a culture that so hated and demeaned women, that sexual relations with women were deemed inferior to sexual relations with teenage boys. I would like to humbly suggest that Philo is not really a...

Did the Church Fathers and other early scholars consider Genesis and the Pentateuch literal?

I don't think human mentality has evolved much in the last 2000 years. Just as now, there were those who had difficulty with figurative expression, especially fictitious genres. And there have ALWAYS been those who recognize a myth as a valuable form of fiction. For us Jews, it is Maimonides...

    Witches!

    1. Magic doesn't work, except so far as ordinary suggestion. There is no spell that can cause someone to fall in love with you, no amulet that will protect your home from natural disasters, no voodoo doll that can harm another person physically, no magic ring that controls demons. 2. There are...
