I Found Hundreds of Intelligent Atheists!

Of course not. Being intelligent makes you an atheist.

Is atheism a type of satanism?

Don't ask a question you don't really want an answer to. You already hold this silly belief, so don't pose it as though you're asking for a discussion on it. If the only thing that you've got is that atheists and satanists have some of the same arguments, then your logical capabilities are...

    Do States Mean Anything Anymore?

It doesn't apply to me, but it seems to apply to many people I've known to a greater or lesser degree. I've lived in a number of states and moved every couple of years growing up, so I never developed a sense of "home" connected to a particular location like most people.

Do Public Accommodations Laws Violate Free Speech and Free Exercise Rights?

I expect, in such places, the attitudes are there, even if the signs aren't. And, the reality is that most openly gay people tend to move to places which are more progressive. Personally, I wouldn't expect that many people would feel comfortable having to advertise their bigotry, even if they...

    Target heart rate question

Don't sweat the details. Move more, eat less (but with adequate nutrition), and you will be healthier. Exercise science is complex, but for anyone out-of-shape or overweight it is much more simple. Consistency is the key. If you feel like you're exercising (breathing hard, exerting...

Does early religious indoctrination affect people for a lifetime?

Depends on the person. Depends on the indoctrination. Also, it probably will have some effect for a lifetime. However, what that effect is probably varies quite a bit from person to person.

    Theory on Mary's Virigin Birth.

This is really the only logical explanation.

Oh, jeez. "Racist" Walking Dead T-Shirt pulled due to complaints

But, why would any sane, reasonable person be looking to be offended?

I Found An Intelligent Atheist, But He's Still Wrong

I'm starting to think that, like evolution, many religious people just don't have the capacity to fundamentally understand what atheism even is.

    The Science of Perception

Sounds like, so many, he got bogged down in semantics and confused it with substantive concepts. Seems to be the one big weakness among otherwise intelligent people.

When you ask me to "open my heart and pray..."? [Question to believers]

Let's not be too harsh. It's simply silly, illogical, and irrational - not necessarily insane.
