Super romantic. That time is so vast, we can only focus on the present. Gifts of love may seem insignificant as time stretches, but what matters most to us is the moment.
This poem is quite romantic, especially the later parts of the poem. It's like a sort of love letter. The beginning has a dark blue feel to it, and then the clouds part and i imagine a peaceful warmth in the 2nd half of the poem.
"I'll go tomorrow to find a deer
With stolen flowers in its teeth...
What a poem! It’s so dark and point-blank, i can really feel the suffering in the poem. Such a tragedy the girl had to go through, i wish it weren’t so. I think this is one of my favourite poems of yours Phil. It’s really heavy. I don’t typically see that in your work, but you do it well :)
Do you recall what you liked about the sign of Aquarius? Was it purely aesthetic? And they are right! Ya just can't do that Phil! :p
Were you called that by everyone? Was it embarrassing? Or was it a brooch of pride? :D
People would see it selfish because they are living in the now. I have not reached any kind of enlightenment, but if i can assume its effects, i'd say that the present is just one small piece of history in the infinite future. I think they would see the larger picture, and are content to not...

I suppose meddling in the internal politics of another country would be "ok" when the politics of the country have huge negative ramifications for the rest of the world. Stopping Hitler from coming to power would be a good example.
We have some Shaktas here, they'd be happy to answer your questions. I believe in a supreme goddess, but she is not the centre of my worship. From what little i understand, all Vedantic traditions are philosophical and venerative. Shaktas can be dualist or non-dualist, and venerate their supreme...
I think the person isn't looking for converts, but more wanting to assert his opinion and religion as the truth. Religious fear tactics show none of the love of a religion, only "our side and the other".
If Lord Krishna loves her very much she must be worthy of immense respect and veneration. The Supreme has many lovers. Just because he dedicates to Radha does not mean he does not love anyone else romantically. There are many women who have a bhakti oriented romantic relationship with Lord...
