Atheism is not a default position

I have addresses this a number of times. Do you understand n the point about there being no 'correct' definition of 'atheism'? I do not think babies have philosophical views. Wow! You still don't get it. No mate, defeating a definition is a waste of time - you misunderstand how language works...

What do people think "atheist" means?

I just answered that mate. Read my first response again ok?

What do people think "atheist" means?

Well until you ask a few more questions, somebody telling you that they are an atheist doesn't really tell you anything. So my answer is: Nothing, absolutely nothing.

Sharing an observation about atheism here on RF

    What matter has been asserted?

Sharing an observation about atheism here on RF

No position on what George? You keep leaving out all of the details needed to make what you are saying legible. What error? You are only giving me fragments again. Who is doing that? How so? Where is the argument for this? What evidence? For what position? What evidence? For what God? Your...

Atheism is not a default position

Yes, correct. That was my whole quote. It gave three qualities - timeless, immaterial and external to the universe. What was the issue?

Atheism is not a default position

Ok, but that is not great reasoning. But sure ok. Why would there even need to be a counter argument? Sure, ok.

Atheism is not a default position

Jeremy, I didn't dismiss the point about God being immaterial, the definition I referred to had God as immaterial.

Atheism is not a default position

Sure ok. So it is your claim - and you don't feel the need to prove it. So why would I want to even engage on it? What has it got to do with me?

    Science Proves Nature Was Created

Well you are making a mistake in thinking it is random - what about evolution? Are you ignoring it?

Atheism is not a default position

Well you seem certain of that. I am not. It is a pretty big claim. "Any being objectively existing would have some degree of control over the universe"? I don't really know how you could prove such a claim, or why it would matter.

Sharing an observation about atheism here on RF

What is? Listen, I get that you like brevity - but you only give me fragments of a question.

Atheism is not a default position

Just a reality check mate, but you have swung in here making a fuss about how dumb you think I am - but your entire argument against me has been nothing more than calling me names and misreading. Sure, you may think my arguments are poor, but at least I have them. Better my poor arguments than...

Atheism is not a default position

Great. Yes, the deist conceptions of god, along with many others I listed do not fit your description of God. They are not claimed to have control over the universe.

The bit where you are just insisting that not making the assertion in question is an assertion.

Sharing an observation about atheism here on RF

But surely, 'at minimum', you are not making an assertion at all?. Sorry, you lost me.
