Thief, they never should have had to do anything to release? You act like everyone is 25 years old and in great shape. The man was in poor health selling cigarettes, he was no threat to anyone.
I'm just saying, perhaps we should take a closer look at just who is employed in law enforcement. They hold the power of life and death. I watched a video of a man shot as he complied with an order to produce his registration.
The man said, "Why did you shoot me?"
I was raised to have respect...
Selling illegal cigarettes is a victimless crime. No victim no crime I say!
Too many infractions are "The State vs someone "
What kind of country lets just anyone walk across our border without ID and even let's them vote and receive assistance and then enforces bull **** laws about some tax...
It is medically unsafe to handcuff some people behind the back. Society is getting older and more overweight. I don't think at any point and time the officers lives where in danger. This is not a one size fits all police state.
The "Us against them" police mentality has to stop. It's not...
This guy sold illegal cigarettes, he should have been issued a citation not choked to death. I normally support law enforcement, but this time I cannot.
It took me 10 years to get my masters. I worked a full time job and started a business as well and was a father to two children and managed to keep a marriage working.
I have them raised and my youngest is starting her masters.
I have elderly parents that need help plus I retired.

You don't see a doughnut factory close when the price of sugar goes up.
Most business models just have an acceptable percentage for labor...
Same here, I'm unavailable but there are some awesome women here at RF.
Now if I was to list them, I surely would leave someone out, but leave it to say that for me, debating some of these lovelies is like soft foreplay at times.
What a silly assumption in a feeble attempt to discredit anyone who preaches taking responsibility for one's self.
All I am saying is, you can't expect to afford to live alone and raise a family on a minimum wage job.
You can live out in the world with room mates and pooling resources, but...
I think the basic principle here is if you have minimum skills, you should not make enough money to raise a family.
A living wage should be paid to folks who have a skillset or degree
I think it is B.S. to feel entitled to health care. In the future, the rich will live to be 150 years old while the lower class folks will not live half as long.
Just because there is expensive medical procedures does not mean everyone is entitled to them.
It would be easier to give everyone...
