Is there any reason to reject the science of evolution, other than religious beliefs?

That's fine. Its good to get to know where each persons biases lay. But you posted... "From a religious POV evolution doesn't seem to "make sense" to creationists." which is a comment on creationists and religious POV's. If you wish to strictly stick to scientific concerns then why post a...

Is there any reason to reject the science of evolution, other than religious beliefs?

No you won't answer civilly or? How am I supposed to answer your posts if I don't answer them in accordance to what I think they mean? Should I answer them according to what I think they don't mean? You'll have to give me an example of what you actually posted that you think I incorrectly...

Is there any reason to reject the science of evolution, other than religious beliefs?

This is a similar definition I am implying. From Oxford languages... "the gradual development of something, especially from a simple to a more complex form." That developing entity is the universe from high entropy to low. The word evolution has become somewhat synonymous with how changes in...

Is there any reason to reject the science of evolution, other than religious beliefs?

I never said you did. I asked you a question. What assumption? Asking a question is not making an assumption. Its trying to avoid making assumptions. You made a distinction by presenting one viewpoint without contradistinction where more than one viewpoint is relevant to the whole. Interesting...

Is there any reason to reject the science of evolution, other than religious beliefs?

Might that be because of the failure of the person to clearly and accurately present what the scriptures are saying rather than being the fault of the scriptures? I myself cannot count the number of times that secularists have misrepresented Christianity with their presumptive conclusions. So I...

Is there any reason to reject the science of evolution, other than religious beliefs?

The bible says what was intended for it to say. Yes biblical revelation is interpretable. But only at the expense of revealing what kind of person you are. You either recognized truth or you do not. And when you recognize the truth you either acknowledge that truth or you do not. All fields of...

Is there any reason to reject the science of evolution, other than religious beliefs?

Did I say the bible teaches that? I said Genesis implies - from a human perspective - that creation evolved in steps. It doesn't say...day 1 God created everything we see. Do you disagree with that assessment? Genesis is a synopsis of the evolving creation. It was not meant to detail that...

Is there any reason to reject the science of evolution, other than religious beliefs?

Like this one from stanford ... Creationism First published Sat Aug 30, 2003; substantive revision Fri Sep 21, 2018 At a broad level, a Creationist is someone who believes in a god who is absolute creator of heaven and earth, out of nothing, by an act of free will. Or this one from Britannica...

Is there any reason to reject the science of evolution, other than religious beliefs?

That depends on the particular creationists "attitude" and training. Genesis in scripture actually clearly implies an evolving creation. And that was written 3000 +- years ago. You shouldn't lump all creationist viewpoints into one pot. Evolution makes perfect sense to some creationists.

Is there any reason to reject the science of evolution, other than religious beliefs?

Okay, I understand that kind of frustration that builds. But I've said nor implied none of those things. So why attack me with the insulting critiques that don't make much sense in their applicability to my posts?

Is there any reason to reject the science of evolution, other than religious beliefs?

What your describing is the science not the scientists. I think disillusionment is an apt noun when it comes to how many scientists feel when an experiment fails to produce an expected result. Scientists aren't robots you know. They have vested interests in knowing they are on the right track...

Is there any reason to reject the science of evolution, other than religious beliefs?

Yes what? Your not clear here. You quoted the entire post. I start the post with an answer to a question concerning what I believe about God. Then I address several other issues in the post. So, yes what? If your going to start your reply by addressing something halfway down my post then you...

Ah, never mind...you meant 340 through 350. I'll look at them. Thanks.

Is there any reason to reject the science of evolution, other than religious beliefs?

Appreciate the pointers. Both of those posts are my responses. Are you saying I debunked myself? Can you just point me at a reply that debunked what I said and perhaps a brief synopsis of how it debunked it as a point from which to start a discussion?

Is there any reason to reject the science of evolution, other than religious beliefs?

Not much? I gave a point by point answer to Audie's accusation of having given no examples. I don't know how you debate things but usually its done with points and counterpoints. Followed by defense of those points by negation of those counterpoints. None of that has been done. Is that what you...

Agreed. But what has been repeated over and over?

What arguments from ignorance? Its like you guys are stuck in a group self congratulatory scripted rut. Give me an example of what I've argued from ignorance.

Disorganized writing? Care to prove your point with an example?

Is there any reason to reject the science of evolution, other than religious beliefs?

I post your reply or you don't. You've already paid attention to my posts if you've replied. What the heck have I posted that has been debunked? No one has offered an example of debunking what I've posted.
