Is it wrong for religious people to listen to secular music?

When I was a Christian I it was indicated that it was fine to listen to secular music. It just depends on what kind of music you want to invest your mind in.

Why does it seem that God never intervenes in Human Suffering

If a brick is made of sand, it does not mean it would disintegrate like sand. There are plenty of poisons that have oxygen in them, but it doesn't mean we can breathe it.

Yes meaning, they want to believe. They want it to be real. Just like I want magic to be real.

Why does it seem that God never intervenes in Human Suffering

No one claims that claims that dreams and wishes are real, that is kind of the point. Science observes the natural world and reports on it. I choose to trust it based on its reliability when done correctly instead of wishful thinking and making connections when there aren't any.

Why does it seem that God never intervenes in Human Suffering

It is real to those who wish it to be real. I was a believer in the Christian god for 11 years, a pagan for 2 and an atheist for 3.

Why does it seem that God never intervenes in Human Suffering

Actually love can be evident via brain scans I believe. Love can also be proven via action and treatment. A belief in a god is just that, a belief. Therefore I am entitled to my own belief that there are no gods.

What is the True Purpose of Life?

There are a variety of possibilities when it comes to why people do the things they do. Psychology is a very interesting field which can explain some of this if one has the time to learn it all. It is very intense.

Why does it seem that God never intervenes in Human Suffering

I am of the opinion that gods do not intervene in anything which seems to indicate that they do not exist.

I haven't read all the posts but I think it should be noted that this man was a self hating sexually confused dude.
