You're suppose to do whatever you do. Don't stress about what and what you are not suppose to do, just live life to the full, even if you are doing something that you don't exactly enjoy, try and take out the negatives.
I was reading something about speaking in tongues, and it's stereotypical to link speaking in tongues to be related to demons. Some highly religious people have done it.
Look man, don't hate. I have no personal experience with homosexuals, hence the whole point in this thread.
I just don't know what to believe/follow with Leviticus saying homosexuality is wrong, then going into explain, that it's the practice of homosexuality is wrong vs. homosexuality fullstop.
I have asked myself this question many times.
What I used to think of Hell is a place of evil, a lack of love. A place where bad people go who are tortured for the rest of their lives.
After reading a few articles online and peoples point of view on Hell, I have mixed messages.
1) Is that Hell...
I read a book, a little while ago about how a child, who was denied his fathers love, was taken advantage by this uncle. The uncle sexually abused him, and the child grew up thinking he was homosexual. He went to a counselor and the counselor said that he wanted love from other boys because he...
I actually feel quite sorry for the homosexual community, considering I don't believe it's when they are confused, but just how they are.
What I'm trying to figure out, is homosexuality acceptable or not. Even if it may seem unfair.
Yes you're quite right.
Tristesse - Theories are meant to be what you think... so therefore no theory can be respectable nor unrespectable. Unless of course they are proven theories which are then not called theories. (:
So, some of you may be aware of Leviticus 18 22: "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination."
So does that mean you are allowed to be homosexual as long as you don't practice your sexuality?
And because everyone is a sinner we should treat them no differently, but...
But the whole point in religion is about faith/non-proof. I find it a highly respectable theory if you believe in a religion and want to understand how the universe was made in a scientific theory.
So people say either God made the universe, or the universe made the universe.
Well can't in fact there be a God, and yet the universe made the universe.
So in this instance, lets imagine that God made the big bang or whatever made the universe. Then from then on with Gods help we evolutionism...
Well the only thing I can think of immediately to change would be to stop debating that religion is real, if I found out it was fake.
Of course this hasn't happened so it's really hard to determine what I would do.
When you say burn, how do you mean?
I know sometimes my eyes start burning/stinging, I just close my eyes and wait for the burning sensation to go away. It usually happens when I get tired.
Well, when you think about it, all religions are pretty much the same.
Most importantly they all have one God.
As many of the Bibles share stories that are similar, I believe that all religions are practically the same.
As I was raised a Catholic, I am still a Catholic.
Hello, you can call me Irelandrulz2.
I am a active forum poster, and enjoy engaging in debates especially about religion and science.
I joined this forum as I wanted to discuss religion with fellow religious member's instead of atheists. >_>
So here I am!!!
