I am a Democrat although I've never voted because I'm opposed to Jury Duty.
I have read The Tao Te Ching but I haven't read the I Ching yet.
I'm Christian in terms of my Religious Beliefs and in terms of Philosophy I'm a Confucian.
I have a copy of the Analects but not any of the other Confucian Books yet.
I'm not sure about the I Ching because some Christians view it as Divination although I'm not sure how Confucius viewed it...
I plan on one day starting a new denomination. It will be like Gurneyite Quakerism with elements of Messianic Judiasm, Zoroastrianism, and Confucianism.

The reason I asked was because of he put out some songs with questionable subject matter like "Brown Shoes Don't Make It", "Magdalena", "Bobby Brown Goes Down", and "The Crab Grass Baby". But since he was a Comedy Musican and these were Comedy songs does that mean that he wasn't condoning...
It's an option but I choose not to sing. I know that Conservative and Liberal Quakers don't have singing in their services and the Eastern Orthodox Christians don't either.
Most Quakers, with the exception of some Liberal Quakers, believe in the Trinity. I'm not sure if most Quaker Churches would require belief in the Trinity.
