How has the world changed since you were a child?

Facebook, Facebook, Facebook! Let's not forget twitter! I grew up where television was at it's prime... so much nostalgia. Now it's all garbage on air these days. Gaming was simple and it was games like Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Super Mario 64. Fun, challenging, and not too...

    Are Computers Aware?

Well, you bring up some good points, but the main difference between living beings and computers are that computers are our creation. They are created for a purpose and that is to listen to our instructions (input) and give us a response (output). Humans are far different than computers. We...

No, I don't think computers are aware. It only does what is programmed into it and are not aware it doing these tasks. With the definition you provided the computer does not meet the criteria for any of them. It does not have the 'conscious' that living things do. Hopefully one day this changes.

The world is changing, but education isn't. Why?

To be honest, I am afraid to go out in the real world after I finish university. Through elementary all the way to grade 12 they insisted on teaching us functions and polynomials. I sat through the classes regurgitating everything I was taught. For every year that passed by: I forgot what I...

    Peace on Earth!

Which I believe is the point of the quote. We can not have peace because sin exists, and the only way to counter this is to follow a "divinely established order" and its rules (Much like the ten commandments).
