The following was written c1935.
"These forty-eight states, having abandoned the twin sophistries of sovereignty and self-determination, enjoy interstate peace and tranquillity. So will all of the nations of the world begin to enjoy peace when they freely surrender their respective...
The following is from the Urantia Book and in my experience, rather sums up the essence of the questions posed in the OP of this thread:
Paper 102 - The Foundations of Religious Faith
102:6:5 (1124.7) The God-knowing soul dares to say, “I know,” even when this knowledge of God is questioned by...
Well I suppose it could be looked at that way. And knowing in advance that his true teachings would be hidden, is perhaps why Jesus once said:
"I declare to you that there is nothing covered up that is not going to be revealed; there is nothing hidden that shall not be known."
Jesus didn't use all of the scriptures.
His great exhortation, “Love your neighbor as yourself,” he took from the Scripture which reads: “You shall not take vengeance against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
Because there are tares amongst the wheat.
Because there are a lot of people who would rather debate truth, instead of seeing it for the pertinence that it is:
"And so, while they paused in the shade of the hillside, Jesus continued to teach them regarding the religion of the spirit, in substance saying:

"The soul of man is an experiential acquirement. As a mortal creature chooses to “do the will of the Father in heaven,” so the divine spirit that indwells the mind of man becomes the father of a new reality in human experience. The mortal and material mind is the mother of this same emerging...
There's a very good reason why many theorize that there was a lost source document for the Gospels commonly referred to these days as Q
"Very soon after Jesus’ ascension on high, Andrew began the writing of a personal record of many of the sayings and doings of his departed Master. After...
Very interesting questions and comments. Perhaps the following quoted material will provide a few insights about them:
"The New Testament records had their origin in the following circumstances:
1. The Gospel by Mark. John Mark wrote the earliest (excepting the notes of Andrew), briefest...
I thought I'd share the following quoted from a source that has a lot of information explaining why there's so much confusion going on in the world:
Christianity’s Problem
"Do not overlook the value of your spiritual heritage, the river of truth running down through the centuries, even to the...
