Should fighting sports be legal? Are they moral?

@Subduction Zone Don’t call the Bible not factual when there is evidence suggesting otherwise.
  2. Mr. Muto

Should fighting sports be legal? Are they moral?

Not all freedoms are ethically justified. A right is a right ONLY if it is justified.
  3. Mr. Muto

Should fighting sports be legal? Are they moral?

@ChristineM The Bible says he destroyed the black market in the church. Jesus never hurt anyone.
  4. Mr. Muto

Should fighting sports be legal? Are they moral?

Violence of any kind is inherently wrong. And don’t you dare try to make gray area with imaginary scenarios.
  5. Mr. Muto

Should fighting sports be legal? Are they moral?

I wonder why all of you work so hard to advocate for violence in the ring.
  6. Mr. Muto

Should fighting sports be legal? Are they moral?

@9-10ths_Penguin And also, if you think my religion is immoral, it’s been terribly misrepresented. And I’m not trying to force you to do my beliefs. Guiding and forcing aren’t the same.

Should fighting sports be legal? Are they moral?

@TagliatelliMonster Alright. Now I see your point in that you think the Creator of this world is pro-slavery. Not so. This was only with the Israelites, God did this to punish the pagan peoples, who A. Sacrificed their children to statues B. Had slavery long before the Israelites were there. C...

    Ethics: Objective or Subjective

I am assuming the position that ethics is objective.
  9. Mr. Muto

Should fighting sports be legal? Are they moral?

But tell me before we end this why is ethics subjective
  10. Mr. Muto

Should fighting sports be legal? Are they moral?

Well I didn’t know. I’m sorry for that mistake.
  11. Mr. Muto

Should fighting sports be legal? Are they moral?

Slavery was abuse and cruelty against another race of man. Against ethics. And if I, despite my many points reasoning why ethics is objective have not convinced you, you tell me why it is subjective.
  12. Mr. Muto

Should fighting sports be legal? Are they moral?

I made several points about why its true. Some things are wrong. And some things are correct. That does not change.
  13. Mr. Muto

Should fighting sports be legal? Are they moral?

I did put up a valid point that some things are wrong and some things are right. This is ethics. To see whether something is correct or not. When someone tries to change the unchangeable laws or morality with imaginary scenarios to justify themselves, then it is wrong. Especially when people...
  14. Mr. Muto

Should fighting sports be legal? Are they moral?

BECAUSE the competition is a fight in which people go to get hurt and to hurt others. And stop trying to contradict me with imaginary scenarios And, ethics are objective, if they were subjective anything could be right. Even rape in an extreme case. And ethics says all violence outside self...
  15. Mr. Muto

Should fighting sports be legal? Are they moral?

Jesus didn’t throw hands with anyone. He just wrecked the illegitimate market in the temple.
  16. Mr. Muto

Should fighting sports be legal? Are they moral?

@Brickjectivity To answer your question, you can talk and you can play sports but when sports involve legit all out fighting even with rules, and endorsing violence in a place in society, then it is wrong. Assault, punching someone is illegal in contemporary society. And yet, even if a boxer...
  17. Mr. Muto

Should fighting sports be legal? Are they moral?

First off, don’t mock me. Second off, ethics is ethics. Right is right and wrong is wrong. That’s the way it is. When people say no to the laws of morality and make up their own laws, then that’s most certainly immoral and wrong.
  18. Mr. Muto

Should fighting sports be legal? Are they moral?

@Twilight Hue They're still doing wrong by the Bible standard.
  19. Mr. Muto

Should fighting sports be legal? Are they moral?

I am comfortable standing up for what IS right. Ethics is OBJECTIVE. And as i have said before many times, simply because one wants to do something, that does not mean it is justified.
