I suggest you look up "the crucifixion of Jesus" on the internet. Can someone help me please understand why Christians use the cross as their symbol? What is in the history of Jesus would make you think he loved crosses?

Using religion to sell merchandise that has nothing to do with religion. It would be like slapping a cross on a Honda and calling it Holy Honda just to sell cars.
No, it isn't targeted at anyone.I don't see the issue, to be honest. This is targeted at sneakerheads (and there is a massive subculture involved) not fleecing humble religious folk looking to get a piece of God.
I would never spend this on sneakers, but there are a lot of very expensive high end shoes out there aimed at collectors (rather than wearers).
Go look at a website like GOAT.
No, it isn't targeted at anyone.
It is a publicity stunt, involving only a single pair of shoes.
Is that right? My source was this: Nike Air Max 97 "Jesus Shoes" filled with holy water are selling for $4,000 - CBS News. which, if you read it, talks about only a single pair.1. No, there were under 2 dozen made.
2. Even were there one pair made as a publicity stunt, this can still be targeted at sneakerheads.
