(Mythological creation comes from the Midrash and the Bible)An interpretation of another version of the Hebrew myth of Genesis

As a lover of foreign religions, I tried my best to reinterpret Mishrad's version of Genesis in poetic terms.

By the way, the Yahweh origin hypothesis I'm taking is from the Sinai Peninsula (even the Arabian volcanic god origin hypothesis), combined with the legend of Leviathan.

Chapter zero: Day of Wrath - Killing Leviathan - Prelude to Genesis

1693424564356.png

In the forty myriad years before the firmament was stretched forth, and the earth was formed, all was without shape and void, and darkness cloaked the face of the deep. The dome of heaven had not yet rained down the sands of stars, and the nascent abyss could not utter its own name.

Chaos swelled unrestrained, and the vast flood seethed as one. All things were yet undivided, and all spectacles were submerged in the endless torrents of the void.

Yahweh stood before eternity, at the wellspring of time and space, contemplating the world He would soon create.

'Emptiness,' 'darkness,' 'chaos,' drifted like endless clouds, seeping into every crevice of His thoughts.

He who could take on ten thousand forms, who possessed endless permutations, yet never attained a true name, only hollow words to vaguely summarize Him - Leviathan.

Existence or destruction, continuation or cessation, many concepts yet unborn were but illusion before Him.

He was then in the form of a great dragon, reigning in the endless abyss, the fathomless sea of depths. He came above all things, and His ever coiling mighty bulk made even time and space bow before Him.

When the colossal dragon opened its maw, unthinkable chaos-fire howled forth from the deep, bursting into the vague void.

Before His myriad eyes, all things curled and became as maggots. His body thrashed ceaselessly, weaving the first nightmare.

The Spirit of God moved above the face of the waters.

Except for the pure white that cloaked and soaked Him, all around was pitch black and chaotic.

The earth at this time was still a hollow void, and the abyss was submerged in eternal chaos.

Before Him there was not yet the beautiful sight of Paradise, nor the holy stones on the altar unveiled.

The presence of the Holy Spirit pierced the depths of the ocean, touching and provoking the ancient slumbering beast.

He coveted the spirit of all things, desiring to completely swallow up Yahweh!

The hundred headed roaring Leviathan arose from the bottomless abyss, eyes glowing sapphire, claws wantonly rending the chaotic tide.

His form was enormous, rising steep as the firmament, ever soaring upwards.

His bellowing roar was like thunder, collapsing the huge waves; His endless eyes glittered and shone, like the morning stars at dawn.

He shook the shackles of the abyss with irresistible force, and the ripples shattered the veil of the void.

His scales glittered, like the triple crystal walls erected by the Almighty.

His armor overlapped, like a surging torrent of a million shields, turning back any weapon that struck Him.

His belly was vast, like the unbreakable pillars of the deep, and all things touched by Him knelt in fealty, and all enemies before Him were crushed to dust.

Although the Great Devourer had endless facets, His essence remained one.

"Let those who curse this day curse it - those who are ready to awaken Leviathan.

Only because His complete awakening signifies the resh

Yahweh would never restrain His fury, He swore to slaughter the dragon in the abyss!

The Most High declared: "Behold, he is my enemy!"

"I will immolate his mighty flesh with purging fire, and pierce the soaring serpent with a sword of wrath. I will scour his festering nest from the deeps, and his crazed whispers will be heard no more."

The words of the King of Kings were flawless and pure, like amber refined seven times in the crucible.

Thus He shaped the entire void into a crucible, to smelt chaos and the abyss.

The furnace raged hot as refined silver, the kiln burned fierce as beaten gold. He lifted the rigid sword of justice, piercing the bloated serpent in one strike.

The Lord of All raised His mighty hand of creation, firmly grasping the hammer of judgement shaped by the Holy Spirit.

He struck terribly, shaking Leviathan's body like thunder, exploding it into disordered fragments. Fury was pulverized into scattered ash; madness extinguished the molten remains. The primordial flame forged in the crucible still slowly flowed in the hammer of creation.

In the unfathomable abyss, the dragon of chaos was slaughtered by Yahweh; his hundred eyes and heads burned away like straw; the dark fire kindled by Leviathan also dissipated in the illusory realm.

"Destroying something whole, you can only gain its skeleton. Pounding on ruins, you may collect some fragments. Grinding those pieces, in the end all you get is dust. Yet when you choose to smelt the negligible remnants, thus, you have grasped the primal flame."

-- The Sutras of Kindling

"The day will come, burning like a furnace; all the arrogant evildoers will become chaff; on that day they will be destroyed, just like the charred remains of Leviathan, God will leave them no roots or branches."

-- Habakkuk 7:12

In the blazing divinity of the Father of Spirits, Yahweh stretched forth His mighty arms, seizing the primal fire He had confined in the endless void. The Holy Spirit became invisible writhing tendrils, twisting together the eldritch flames of chaos in the realm of illusion.

The colorless first flame began to coalesce under the attraction of the Almighty's pure arcana. He drew forth the bright lamp Seraphim, forged from the distant and lofty holy mist, out of the chaos and void.

The Seraphim cried out as soon as they awoke, and thunder shook the entire cosmic crucible. Crimson fire flashed over their wings like lightning, shaped like serpents gliding through the air, a true miracle of the Holy Spirit.

They were beautifully formed, enormous and transcendent, often circling and soaring beside Yahweh. They stood over the crucible, each with six wings outstretched, bearing the glory and fire of the Lord, singing praises unceasingly.

These hymns of praise were like the sound of great waters. When they proclaimed "the glory manifested from the Lord's presence should be exalted!" the six-winged angels called to one another, shaking the heavens with "Holy, holy, holy, Lord of Hosts; the void is filled with His glory!"

Their supreme glory was also revealed.

"Behold, I Myself created the craftsmen who tend the crucible fire, and forged weapons for them to work."

"Let their wings stir up storms, to stoke the fierce flames!"

The dark fire writhed with cunning, and whenever the Almighty peeled away the cocoon of chaos and gave it a fixed form, it would hide itself again, dissipating completely into the void.

The eternal existence began giving that turbulent and obstinate flame a different name for each of its manifestations, trying to confine it fundamentally, yet each name greatly deviated from its essence.

The reason it was chaos,

Was because it never wished to receive the grace of the Creator, or submit to His ordainment.

And the origin of the kindling fire was deeply buried in the heart of chaos.

None of the names declared by Yahweh could encompass that crafty, elusive, changing flame.

Although its forms were endless, its essence could not escape the Almighty's iron grip.

The primal power latent in the abyss since birth was now kindled like tinder by the First Flame, and the throne of void began to shake, and the bottomless deeps quaked.

The flame of destruction surged from His crucible.

The unpredictable blaze was consumed each time it erupted by the invisible forge.

The furnace throat of the void belched infinite heat, blazing crimson then fading into embers and ashes. The Holy Fire turned again, becoming the cosmic hammer that forged the writhing deeps into new creation.

The ringing chorus was like a hymn of praise to the glorious Maker:

He who shattered primordial chaos, who reforged the bottomless abyss and infinite emptiness into the heavens and earth -

"He is the Alpha and Omega, creator of the world's destruction and genesis from formless chaos!"

Midrashic Haggada

Please correct me? This is a general term, not a midrashic collection, not a specific book or Sage. Agaddah means "story". So you're writing in a genre, inspired by the idea of ancient story-tellers? But you haven't read any midrash to influence the style or content?

请纠正我?这是一个通用术语,不是米德拉西集,不是特定的书或圣人。阿加达的意思是“故事”。所以你的写作风格是受到古代讲故事者的启发?但你还没有读过任何影响风格或内容的米德拉什吗?
In fact, most of the versions of Mishra that I can find on the Internet are in Hebrew, there are few translations in English, so I can only partially translate and interpret them to read, of course, most of the core of the story has been translated into English. I started with a series based on Jewish legends, and then read Mishrader in the Jewish Electronic Library, which still presents a lot of challenges for a religion lover whose first language is not English, but I will try to overcome them.

Chapter 2: Sevenfold Holy Cosmos of Heaven and Earth

The promise fulfilled has given birth to seven holy realms, each one echoing the divine will and extolling the name of the Lord.

All things from Him proceed, through Him, they come into being.

Honor and dominion unto God who makes all things return, for floating away only to decoy home, wandering for a time before finding rest in the ancient embrace of the Earth.

As leaves return to the forest, waves to the ancient shore, letters to the page from which they sprang, and grains of dust blown by the wind, all will eventually settle into stillness.
To Him be the glory that knows no end, To him be the glory forever, like the Wheel of Fortune beyond our comprehension.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The first, Divine Sovereignty, is the firmament that mortals behold, a veil shielding them from ignorance and shielding them from the world's corruption. The reappearance of daylight is a testament to the Lord's boundless grace.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The second Heavenly Kingdom is the domain of the stars, destined for profound suffering yet also pointing the way to redemption, who are wise enough will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the forever stars.
This realm, suspended in the vast expanse, is where souls awaken after their descent into the material world. It exists in the liminal space between true light and darkness, biding its time for the chosen ones.

The stars' light is not like the clamor of the world; rather, as the silver light descends, it gazes upon the prisoners bound in this world, emitting a constant call day and night, seeking to rouse those sons who have imbibed from the waters of forgetfulness and lead them back to their source.

From its vantage point, all the manifold sufferings stem from indulgence, and only by breaking the cycle of fate and returning to the nameless state can true redemption be attained.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The third holy realm is the sky where the sun and moon revolve with no apparent order, where the timing of the seasons is reversed, and where time and space are subject to the Lord's reins.

The faint sound of a fountain accompanies the intertwined black-and-white days in the secluded garden.

The dreamlike Luminous-fruit trees in the garden are twisted and entwined, with clusters of the fruit of light maturing silently in the stillness.
Although the fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, the luminosity one saves lives."
The clear dew drips down like rain, and the fragrance of flowers and honey pervades the garden. Fresh milk flows like a river, nourishing the lambs of the gods of this world and transforming them with their holiness.

Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in they salvation

This is where the heavenly food of utmost preciousness is concealed, reserved only for the purified souls to savor.

Descending into the Garden of Light like morning dew, it envelops every tree and plant, blending into the air of the garden like white dew, sustaining all who yearn for existence, which refreshes their souls.

As the sons of Israel were blessed with grace in the wilderness, so are the pious souls of the future nourished in heaven, they will no longer be victims of famine in the world or bear the scorn of the nations.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1693426118899.png
The fourth, Glory Abode unfolds the Kingdom of Heaven: a holy city of Jerusalem, a temple adorned with jade and pearl, whose resplendence surpasses the brightest hues of the firmament.

Here stands the great archangel Michael, tall in the Holy of Holies, exuding a solemn and dignified aura.

His six wings enfold his chest, concealing boundless mysteries, with two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying.

He wields a mighty and formidable staff that gleams with an ethereal radiance.

His gaze penetrates all the tumultuous realms, and his presence renders all things mute in awe of his majesty.

A sublime and ineffable flame illuminates the glory of the Most High, while he disseminates his justice with a regal and righteous hand.

Until all the heavens would be disappeared with a roar; the elements would be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it would be laid bare.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The fifth, celestial sphere, is a place of celestial rapture, where the angels dance and sing in defiance of the encroaching darkness.

Their voices rise in a symphony of heavenly harmony, praising the eternal love and mercy of the Creator.

For the daylight belongs to Israel, and the angels' command is to bear witness to the glory of the Lord of Hosts spreading among his people.

When humanity prays with a devout heart, heaven rejoices; when they disobey the divine command, angels mourn.

The ebb and flow of the mortal world reveal the will of heaven, and the angels watch over it with unwavering vigilance, their eyes fixed upon the ineffable light of the divine.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The sixth firmament, is a place of enigmatic visions, an unfathomable land of inexplicable wonders.

It is the root of trials and tribulations, where the sufferings of the mortal world converge.

「 The scorching sun shatters, giving way to a crimson mist, a blood-colored glass that forms a stairway of sharp and gleaming blades.」

「The howling wind carries the debris of time, and the black haze spreads the tainting abyss.
Snow accumulates, forging sharp and tempered steel.」

「Poisonous dew overflows, corroding endless living creatures.」

「Storm suddenly rises, raising a cloud of dust.」

「Haze spreads, instantly covering the sky.」

Towering flames build a rebellious wall, separating many heavenly rooms.

The gloomy sun rises from the blood sea like a pulsating heart.

The archangel Metatron patrols day and night with a stern and watchful eye, preventing calamities and evil beings from infiltrating and defiling the holy land, while the divine mysteries of the celestial spheres remain hidden from mortal eyes.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The seventh heaven is the highest and supreme realm, where only Yahweh's love and divine goodness exist, and nothing else.

It is replete with justice and righteousness, the mercy of the Heavenly Father, the eternal stream of life, and the fountain of peace and joy.

It collects the pure hearts of the devout, the souls of the unborn future, and the Heavenly Father takes them to awaken the dry bones with His dew of grace.

Most importantly, the divine throne stands at the center, surrounded by the six-winged seraphim, the clean cherubim, and the serving angels.

They sing day and night, praising the Lord's glory and extolling his great grace with a celestial melody that resounds throughout the heavenly spheres.

This is the paradise of heaven, a pure and holy land that the Lord watches over with a benevolent and protective hand, where the faithful shall dwell in eternal bliss, and where the mysteries of the divine are revealed to those who seek them with a pure heart.

Chapter 0 : Prologue

Yahveh's might no mortal can match!

chinese version:

序章

没有人能像雅赫威一样!

  他驾驭诸天来帮助你,在他雄伟的荣耀中穿过天穹。

  永恒的神是你的避难所和居所,在下面有永恒的臂膀;

  -----------------------

Throughout the first half of the first verse of Genesis, I have adopted the hypothesis of the origin of Yahweh's volcano and forge god, the ancient Jewish legend that Yahweh slaughtered Leviathan before the creation of the world.

On this basis, combined with Heraclitus's philosophy of fire and creation and destruction, the result is a passage that differs from the mainstream biblical style.

The Yahweh here is more in line with the Yahweh of the original mythic age, the fiery, irritable, and terrifying nature of the god of volcanoes, the brave qualities of a warrior god, and the creative power of the god of forging and smelting. I tried my best to show it, but there are still many shortcomings, and I hope readers can provide valuable suggestions (such as fighting).

Chapter 3: "Heavenly Host Condemns Creator's Creation of Primordial Man in Divine Council"

With Yahweh's infinite wisdom, He determined to create humankind in His own image, and before executing His purpose, He did not rely solely on His solitary wisdom nor did He sacrifice an eye to seek external objects, but instead, sought the voices of expression from all directions, as an example for humanity, despite His great and outstanding nature, never disregarding the advice of the humble and lowly.

First, Yahweh called upon the heavens and the earth, then all of His creations, and finally, the angels; He gazed upon the divine garden, lifted His face, and listened to the whispers of all living things, seeking counsel and guidance from all creatures and spirits, as the spirits of the four winds spoke wise words to Him, while the spirits of flowers and plants surrounded Him, pouring out their fullness and singing the sayings of the kingdom of heaven loudly, until the prayers of all living things gradually quieted, and only the sound of the beginning and end echoed throughout the four directions.

However, not all the armies of the Lord of Hosts had a unified opinion, as the angels of love agreed to create humans, believing that humanity would learn to love deeply, but the guardians of truth, led by the angel Lucifuge Rofocale, believed that humans would lie for generations, letting deceit take root in human souls, filling the pure spirit with lies, and to prevent this corruption of the pure world, they fiercely opposed the creation of humans, while the cherubim guarding the Ark and angels of righteousness approved of this great undertaking, hoping that children would accomplish the greatest good, and mankind would eventually practice justice.

However, the angels of peace firmly opposed the creation of humans, believing that it would be the source of corruption that would cause humans to constantly quarrel and fight, leading to chaos and disturbing the peace of the world.

1693429464088.png
To make the many protests against Him ineffective and thwart the voices of resentment, Yahweh threw the angel of truth, Lucifuge Rofocale, from heaven to earth, as Yahweh's other angels loudly protested this contemptuous treatment of their companion, and He replied, "Truth shall rise from the earth!"

The angels were deeply shocked to hear this, wondering how their companion could suffer such hardship and inexplicable demotion, and as Yahweh's angels became angry about Lucifuge Rofocale's humiliation and caused endless thunder, the Almighty responded: "Truth shall rise from the earth! Wisdom flowers can grow in vast places!"

A brilliant and peculiar radiance (white with five colors) emanated from Lucifuge Rofocale until it overflowed, as this angel, who suffered great shame, showed endless glory in the world, and the one who tasted humiliation showed inexhaustible glory, as his suffering led to his strength and wisdom, making him more victorious than in the past, and the glory of God shone upon Lucifuge Rofocale, as the Creator smiled and said, "New truth has settled in the world," and Lucifuge Rofocale leaped to the highest heaven, as the supreme Creator said in front of countless companions, and endless radiance and blazing flames shone upon his spirit, as all the angels sang, "Hallelujah! The wisdom of the Almighty Father is beyond words!"

When the angels come to know all the secrets and concepts of mankind, the condemnation and admonishment of the Lord's heavenly hosts shall resound with even sharper and louder tones.

Though the Creator revealed to the angelic host that devout worshippers were about to come into the world, He concealed from them that there were also repentant sinners among the mortal creatures.

Despite only knowing half of the truth, the angels were compelled to cry out in fervent protest, "What is man, that thou art mindful of him? And the son of man, that thou visitest him?"

They marveled, "What is it about the filthy and decaying mud and flesh that is worthy of entering the divine eyes of the Most High? How can the sons of dust dare to aspire to be above the holy angels and the living flame?"

In response, Yahweh posed a question: "Why were the shining feathers soaring in the sky and the shimmering fish swimming in the blue created? What purpose do they serve if there are no guests to admire them in a well-stocked pantry?" He expounded, "I created the essence of all things and humanity, solely for them to offer me their worship."

For the holy guardians among the inhabitants of the universe, even a slight suspicion regarding the Most High's intention was met with the most terrible judgment.

When they reappeared, they were like candles in the wind, bearing ruthless criticism and undergoing painful purification rites for their opposition. The warning of a few angels that had disappeared into oblivion prompted the holy army to be cautious and scrupulously abide by the laws, not to let doubts and worries obscure the gaze of the Creator's favor.

When the Eternal One assembled the choir of seraphim led by the archangel Michael and inquired about their views on creating humans, they disdainfully retorted, "What interest dost thou have in humans?

And dost thou also visit him, the Son of Man? Can dust even deserve thy mercy?" Only the godlike Michael stood solemnly in the heavenly court. Then Yahweh extended his little finger, and everyone except their leader Michael was engulfed by flames.

The same fate befell the angelic choir of the Songs of Solomon, led by the archangel Gabriel. The angels created for the living flame perished in the fire, but He alone was spared from destruction. Michael and Gabriel remained silent, humbly supplicating for the mercy of the Most High.

The third choir of seraphim consulted was led by the archangel Raphael.

Warned by the terrible fate of their predecessors, Raphael counseled his brethren, "You have witnessed the misfortune of the angels who said, 'What is the man that thou should care for him?'

Let us be vigilant and not repeat their errors, lest we suffer the same dreadful punishment. For the Highest will ultimately not be restrained by anyone. Therefore, let us willingly submit to His vision."

Raphael and his fellow angels earnestly admonished, "Since the Most High Creator desires to create the Son of Man, He must have a deep love for him."

He humbly knelt and said, "May my fellow angels and I reverently serve the Son of Man, become his wings and guide him, and enlighten him with all his grand secrets!"

The Light of Lights responded, "Although the son of creation is of dust, he can reflect my supreme wisdom."
The Eternal One, with lofty judgment, bestowed upon the archangel Raphael the name of "Redeemer" to reward him for his kindness to his fellow angels.

From then on, Raphael was revered as the angel of healing, presiding over celestial medicine and earthly medicine.

He excelled in the use of the herbs of the heavenly curtain, such as amber, frankincense, and myrrh, carving precious stones, blowing pearl powder, and warding off evil spirits.

From then on, his right hand held the magic of healing and drug-making, and the key set with gems on his waist opened the jar of animal-shaped ointments.
