007 Trump

I got this link forwarded to me a couple of weeks ago. Many of you have probably already seen it. At first I thought it was just a put down of Trump. Then I forwarded it to my brother, who is very anti-Trump, and he was very annoyed that I was spreading pro-Trump videos. I guess I can see it either way. What do you think?

Trump 007

I watched it. It's constructed of some of the Finest Sarcasm, so naturally I thought it hilarious.

That whole "damning with faint praise" shtick. (C.F. Poe)

But. I can easily see how some folk would see this as extreme praise of the trump-nazi. Some folk actually think he's kinda smart.

And I can see how an anti-trump person would see it as being pro-trump, because the sarcasm is subtle-- and because so many trump supporters actually believe in the Trump Hype Machine's portrayal of him being an actually good businessman....

It could go either way, but it was some clever editing, a montage of several 007 films. I think I got all different films the clips were from (and they were not in order of production).

I was a life long fan of 007 films right up until Connery retired, and a few beyond that. I admit, I haven't seen the very latest-- so now I realize I've been remiss.

Gotta go get my 007 fix. ;)

That it can be seen both ways so easily hints how much of a showman Trump is at all times.

It also highlights IMO that Trump as a person is ultimately of little relevance. He is enabled by a social and political environment that has gone seriously astray and no longer has the effective defense against serious disease that it badly needs.

Were it not for him, some other weakling would have occuppied the vaccuum. Perhaps Marco Rubio or Newt Gingrich.

I thought it was HILLARYous!

Great sarcasm and, as it has been noted already, it could be interpreted either way. Expertly done.

This was pro-Trump? A lot of jokes cut both ways imo so it seems like an obvious ideological bias at play.. Overall it earned a laugh here and there.

Trump is just playing the Americans. That is what narcissists do. They change scenario all the time, so that people get confused and numb. If you study narcissism you know that there is one way to stop their destructive behavior = NOCONTACT and definitely not make them a president. Negative or positive news is both "pro"-narcissists (Trump).

They charm just enough to not get kicked out and in the mean time they destroy everything around them.

But anyway I believe that Trump also just has to play a role the people above him tell him to play.

Those clips are all from the Pierce Brosan era. He is the actor that is the closest to the classic Sean Connery Bond.

And thank you very much @WalterTrull .

Exactly.,.,.,.,.,.,,.

Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
God could prevent it but He will not (impov)

Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.

God is able but He will not (impov)

Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
God is willing but He will not (impov)

With no disrespect intended or implied your list of things presumes God did this or that to mankind but He did not.

God gave us the unique ability to chose what we do and/or believe. It is our choice to freely make that choice.

He did give us instructions and guidelines while at the same time he gave us the ability to choose.

So between me and you and the fence post, choose wisely.

in my point of view (impov) of things

Then your god is evil, at least in part.

Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
God is able but He will not (impov).

Then he's evil-- maliciously so, for being all-powerful.

Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
God is willing but He will not (impov).

Okay, it's evil then.

With no disrespect intended or implied your list of things presumes God did this or that to mankind but He did not..

See above. It presumes the claims as "written" by all god-books.

God gave us the unique ability to chose what we do and/or believe. It is our choice to freely make that choice..

Nope. I cannot force belief where there are no facts. I'd love to believe in a Benelovent Deity what watches out for humans. Alas.... the evidence says no such being exists.

He did give us instructions and guidelines while at the same time he gave us the ability to choose..

Really? WHERE? This I gotta see!

So between me and you and the fence post, choose wisely.

in my point of view (impov) of things

I did not get to choose, alas. God simply fails to show himself as believable.

An all-knowing god? Would know **exactly** what it would take, too... but absolutely refuses.

Malevolent, yet again.

If God exercised His power and made us do what he would like us to do then we would be puppets on a string.

What's the fun in that?

Puppet? To be... convincing requires the one being convinced to be a puppet?

Wow. Your god sounds like kind of a monster, really, that it is incapable of dialing it back enough, but being **convincing** to someone who is mildly skeptical.

How sad is THAT? Your god sounds like kind of an a888zz.
