I saw the making of that stunt in an old show called "Movie Magic".

The "sedan" was so modified to perform that stunt, it really no longer qualified as "sedan".

Strongly reinforced, and stiffened suspension. Boosted engine. All the excess weight stripped out. Stiffened and reinforced frame, etc, etc.

I don't remember exactly, but it could even have had a body shell dropped onto a custom chassis-- it's been awhile since I saw the episode that deconstructed that stunt.

But the stunt was real, if the driver was not actually Roger Moore.

In contrast to someone without an ego, say, like Obama, who with his lovely wife, was invited to stay over for supper, and did.

I don't care about monarchs all that much either, but I do respect others. If you are in a court of law and do not stand when the judge walks in the judge could put you in jail for contempt of court. That is not disrespecting the judge as a person, but disrespecting the judicial system. What Trump did was akin to that.

What Trump does is beyond pandering. I have seen all presidents be somewhat dishonest in putting a false face to their lives, but Trump takes it to a whole new level.
