On this day 12 months ago, I hopped on a plane to visit @Quaxotic in his hometown.
It was an awesome visit, followed up by a visit by him to my hometown later in July, and another visit by me to him in September for his birthday, and for 11 days, to see how we'd go in each others' faces for longer than 4 days.
Then, at the end of November, Quax made the move to my hometown, and we've been living together (in sin!) ever since.
I am pleased to say that over this time, we've grown incredibly close, yet maintain our uniqueness in the relationship. We both reflect on our past relationship experiences and are of an age where we really value each others' contribution to our life together. We have chosen 4th July as our anniversary date, because when we met it confirmed for us what we already knew from online chats and Skype sessions; we are compatible and respect each other to the point where we can be together and yet have our own space in the relationship.
I'd like to thank @Infinitum, @JiSe, @Smart_Guy and @DreadFish for their support of me during the first half of 2014, and their support of my and Quax's budding romance from the very beginning.
I'd also like to thank RF for providing the platform upon which we met. *GROUP HUGS*
Most of all I'd like to thank Quax for being an awesome person and making the move so far from his family to give our relationship a shot. It's working!!!
