Will to love
I got this idea from a blog I recently read about a book by the same name.

So, RFers, what's on our list of 100 essential life skills?

I'll start with:

1. Balance your checkbook
2. Change a diaper

Further to this and number 5, I once helped one of my college roommates jump-start his car. I had one end of the cables, he had the other. He'd never done it before, so I was talking him through it.

I told him to put one of the clamps on a chassis ground. He pointed to the rubber bump stop for the hood and said "you mean like this?"

I could understand someone not knowing which metal part of a car is a good ground or not, but I couldn't understand someone not knowing that rubber doesn't conduct electricity.
