I'm just really hoping it doesn't end up lending credibility the all the 2012 crackpot theories that are running around the Internet.
I think it might be a summary of such 'theories'.

That's curious. Why bother making a movie if you think the worlds going to end soon? Think this is just a ploy to take gulable and sadly misinformed people's money? I know a girl who really does think the worlds going to end. I wonder if the scum who do these things stop and concider how it's going to affect other's lives.

This movie looks so scary. My main problem is the tsunami. Tsunami's are my greatest fear. I totally cried at the end of that trailer because the tsunami scared me so much.
On a semi-lighter note though... the graphics look amazing for this movie. I don't know if I will see it though. There are a couple things that scare me too much. :sad:lol

I read somewhere that Roland originally wanted to use John Cusack as the lead in GODZILLA (GINO) but preferred to ruin Matthew Broderick's career instead.I was surprised to see John Cusask's in it. Does this mean his career is winding down?

Well I heard that they are already talking about the TV series called 2013, so that sort of drop kicks the whole "end of the world" aspect of the movie for me. C'mon, they are touting the film as the end of the world and before it is even released they are yapping about a TV series following the events in the movie. Good grief.
