2024 USA PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION DAY watch party.

It's gonna be a normal day for me. Calm. Second cup of coffee outside, getting some sun, watching the birds at the feeder.

No news before the polls close because until then it's just a lot of words to fill the space called "no one knows anything yet."

Do you have a favorite bean? I am a fan of Ethiopian coffee, though some really tasty beans are grown in Guatemala. Though to honest, if it is hot and black I will drink in a pinch

I guess since politics affects every aspect of our lives, people tend to get emotional about the whole thing.

Not everyone is a sage who can be unattached to all ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I think we’ll get there one day though.

I suppose over time, one gets used to the machinations of politicians that they become more familiar and expected. Maybe one gets numb to it over time. That doesn't necessarily entail apathy, but one can try to keep a cool head even while everyone around them is losing theirs. We can still try to look at these things logically and rationally.

Medium roast Columbian is my everyday go-to, but I had SO much fun when I was gifted with a year's subscription once to

Sourced from a different country every month, accompanied by a postcard with details about the country, climate, and production. The coffees I enjoyed the most came from Africa.

Gotta have half and half. Not milk. :)

I will just be at home with my family and just watch the internet totals. No need to listen to commentary on TV on this whole thing.

I do think all of us need to think about our response to a loss or win by our candidates before hand. How will we respond whether it is close or not etc. Whoever loses will be pretty disappointed, I wonder if any of us can show the other side any grace anymore. I was taught growing up by my parents to be a gracious loser and humble winner and that advice has never let me down.

As an anarchist™, I lose every election haha! I’ve learned to be a gracious loser and get along with all the statists.

I believe republicans and democrats can get along, if they simply tried…

Well I tried voting. I got an anxiety disorder, so when I showed up and saw the crowds at the polls, I started tripping. I’ve been able to go to shopping centers without the anxiety preventing me like it used to, so I figured I’d be good to go to the polls.

I guess my one vote won’t matter. I know when millions think that then it does matter, but darn it I gave it a go. I ain’t going to have an anxiety attack in public though. I’m sorry Miss Harris ;-; I should’ve voted by mail!
