3.5 trillion?

I would say the rich aren’t enough in number to vote politicians in office, it’s the normal citizens that end up voting for and putting people in office. Look who is in charge right now. Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer. These have been in the government for so long now. Have a big part of how we got almost 30 trillion in debt now, because of the policies and being involved the last 20 years since Bush started down this road to huge debt. They aren’t doing anything to balance a budget but the opposite. So the rich didn’t vote these 3 in office by themselves, a lot of other average people did.
Voters must blame someone else for the results of their choices.

They also play a part in swaying the average voter through paying for media presence. Consider also the role that lobbying plays in politics. A lot of popular legislation like healthcare reform becomes politically difficult to pass due to the influence of profit-driven lobbying.
Yeah, for sure and why are we still voting these career politicians in office? I don’t get that at all and we see the results, looks like some people in Virginia and other places are sick of it too. Stop the “party” voting and get average people who love the US in office. We don’t need the self serving politicians, the lobbyist will disappear when they get ignored and the money drys up.

"Plenty like to scoff at infrastructure investments without realizing just how behind we are - and how that being behind translates to loss of profit and lower quality of life"

Considering the lie that is "The Infrastructure Bill" .1.7 trillion and less than 500 billion dedicated to infrastructure. To top it off, the Democrats edited the requirement for all that spending to be on US products and American jobs. The Cabinet member spending the money has the power to use offshore products and labor.

This is the same group that under Clinton, promised 100,000 police officers and only produced 65,000, yet spent every dime of the money.

Nothing but Union coffers and mindless needless spending trends ...

You are already seeing inflation because the mindless group of ideology that couldn't run a profitable lemonade stand, much less a country.

I'm curious to know where you had gotten the notion that only $500 billion out of $ 1.7 trillion dollars to be spent according to the infrastructure bill enacted will go to infrastructure?
