3 minute cake.

1 Coffee mug (Microwave-safe)
4 tbsp Cake flour is suggested. I've made it with self-rising and it works fine.
4 tbsp Sugar
2 tbsp Cocoa
1 Egg
3 tbsp Milk
3 tbsp Oil

Mix dry ingredients in the mug. Add egg and mix well. Pour in milk and oil, mix thoroughly.

Put mug in the microwave, and cook for three minutes at 1.000 watts. Cake will rise over the top of the mug -- do not be alarmed. When finished, carefully remove mug from microwave and allow to cool a little. Enjoy.

Yup. I make it all the time. Recipe and pics are all over the net.

It's pretty good but, takes some time to perfect. Mine usually ends up a tad dry or bubbles over the mug. I use a bowl instead of a mug now.

Unfortunately, it's pretty fattening for a single serving. I substitute the oil with plain yogurt, sugar with Splenda, and use skim milk, to cut down on calories.

I have one of those too..but I think you missed the point..We are talking about a single serving 3 minute cake..

Not a 9 hour loaf of bread ..

ye but mine has a stance wich you can make cake with it and it auto adjust to the amount so it i just make a tiny cake the bake time is severly reduced
