"31% of White Evangelicals Say They’ll Support Trump No Matter What He Does"

These girls - all young and pretty, Alone at night.
First there was Jill, then Eurydice and then Aiia.
One each year.
You mentioned them.
It's terrible that they were raped. Unlike you, I don't blame them for it.

I am sick to death of people saying I ought to
"research" these things. Research what? That
by some twisted and tortured Political Correctness
I might learn that common sense isn't sense?
Well yeah, if you're sharing inaccurate information, then people are going to tell you to do your research.
Not only did I point this out to you, but I provided you with some facts and some research material to peruse. None of it is "politically correct;" it just, is what it is.

That it's all about "patriarchy" and I should hand
more of my liberties to the feminists?
I don't think I said that but ...
What liberties have you "handed to feminists?"

SHE has the right to walk alone at night, ME, I have
no right to express an opinion about it without being
shut down, or lose my job.
I would love the right to walk alone at night without having to be terrified that I'm going to be attacked. Do men regularly have to plan out their walks so that they have a weapon on them, so that they are wearing something that won't be viewed as "too sexy" or whatever, so that they are not accidentally walking into some dark and isolated area, and on and on, so that they can avoid being blamed, if and when they are attacked? Have you ever sat and thought for one minute how much anxiety and fear you don't have, that a lot of women have to experience on a daily basis?

But again, as I pointed out, if we're talking specifically about rape, a person is much more likely to be raped by someone they already know, than by a stranger in a dark alley.
Though of course, that does happen.

What opinions are you voicing that are causing you to lose your job?

Okay, let's have more "education" to stop rape.
We already have a generation here of boys who
have been silenced, feminized, traumatized and
blamed for every evil under the sun.
What do you suggest then?

#MeToo just blew all this stuff wide open. Where once women were silent, they now feel comfortable to come forward after years and years of keeping quiet about it. And now you just want to shut it all down because it makes you uncomfortable?

That will take generations and achieve what?
In the meanwhile more girls are raped and killed
at night.
And in the day, by people they already know.

So we beef up the police presence? And what,
watch every pretty girl wandering around at night
exercising her right to be alone and safe?
More girls wind up dead.
How about we teach people proper ways to treat each other that don't include violence
How about we teach people healthy ways to deal with their feelings?

One of the girls was raped, murdered and then
sprayed with WD40 and set on fire. How do you
"educate" a man that this is wrong?

The solution is simple - women should not be
out at night on their own.
Let me get this straight then. You don't think there is any way to educate men about how wrong rape is? (Let's not forget also, that men are also raped.)
And your solution is to just lock women up in their homes and take away THEIR freedoms, all so that we don't have to deal with actual rape and violence in any tangible way?
Why don't we force them to cover their entire bodies while we're at it?
Sorry but that sounds like crap to me. It sounds like you're trying to blame the victims instead of the perpetrators. That doesn't sit well with me.

Well.... it used to be in a more Judaeo Christian world that civility, respect,
family honor, chastity etc counted for something.

I used to wonder what a post-religious society would look like. One day I
read about 5 and 6 year old boys in Australian schools being taught not to
sexually abuse girls - this was "remedial education."
"I think we have reached that society" I thought.
Me growing up that was never thought possible. And now we have, what
a quarter of all campus girls raped? If this is so then is our education is
making rape look permissible?
I guess a lot more girls are going to be murdered then - because of their
ideological convictions.

And so you think people didn't used to get raped in the past?
Or that if people followed the Bible there would be no rape?

What does teaching boys not to rape people have to with with a "post-religious society?"
Should we not teach people not to rape?

Imagine in a Victorian society they would teach young boys
not to sexualize girls. Hardly seems possible - they didn't
have a sexualized society. Sure, there were rapes, and
homosexuality, and gambling etc. but it's the SCALE and
PERMISSABILITY of the issue that would have staggered
them.
Most forms of gambling were illegal when I was born.
We were told it was wrong to gamble. But we weren't
told it was wrong to rape - the issue was inconceivable.
One kid was kidnapped and murdered and the news
about it went on for five to ten years.

It's like in the 1950's you would teach all American kids
how to save yourself when gunmen turn up to murder
you in your classroom. Utterly inconceivable.

And university girls claim there's a 25% chance of being
raped.

So yeah, America is now a "post-religious" society.

So a young woman has to walk home in the dark. In ye olden
days some "gentleman' would "accompany" her to the front
door and make sure she was safely inside.
But your ideological brat "insists" it's her "right" to walk home
late at night on her own. And she is raped, or worse.
That's ideology, ie "In an ideal world there should be no rape."
So she blames every man - the same men who once wouldn't
allow her to walk home alone.

This is called victim blaming.

Stop it.

Women wanting to walk around safely and independently without having to have a male chaperone isn't too much to ask, I don't think. You'd rather beat up on women ("brats" as you call them) for wanting equality than teach people that rape is bad. And you think it's women's priorities that are mixed up??

Also, here's some food for thought, just so you can really feel what it's like to be a woman ... How do I know the guy walking me home isn't going to attack me? After all, as I keep pointing out, people are more likely to be raped by people they know, than by random strangers.

Re those three young ladies. I don't "blame" them - I blame the feminists who say:
1 - it's Your Right to walk home alone at night
2 - people have No Right to say it's not
2 - It Shouldn't be dangerous, so start walking.

That's ideology.

What they say is that it should be a right to walk home alone at night. What can we do to make the necessary changes in society so that we may be able to walk home alone any damn time we feel like it, without having to fear for our lives? No, it should not be dangerous.

Ask yourself this, who is it that women are afraid of in these scenarios? Is it other women?
