Cheese (any kind, shredded)
Butter, preferably left out on counter
Sour cream

Salt and pepper

Full cream milk with the cream at the top.

Pepper

Or onion soup

Beef stock
Gruyère

I can do it in only 3 ingredients (2 if you're giving a pass on pepper!).

Caccio e pepe --

Pasta (bucatini is great)
Pecorino Romano cheese, freshly grated (not pre-grated!!!!)
Pepper corns (preferably Tellicherry) freshly and coursely ground

A little tricky to make to get the cheese to turn into a sauce but once you learn how to do it, it's divine!
