50 ton Jade block found in Myanmar Burma

A massive jade boulder has just been discovered in Myanmar (former Burma), and soldiers have been sent to northern Myanmar to protect an enormous jade boulder that could weigh up to 50 tons.

I pray this boulder should not be hacked to pieces and smuggled or purposely couriered into China.

My personal opinion is the jade boulder should be considered a national treasure of Myanmar, and if I had any say in the matter it would be carved into an enormous Burma-style Buddha in meditation and placed strategically at some national Burmese park or garden or institute or temple.

Such a boulder is unlikely to be all usable in one piece. so there would be plenty of off cuts for other uses. 50 tons is big but not massive.
