I don't think I could break more than a few tens of millions even with everything I'd ever want and to even get it that high I had to imagine a stupidly over priced building for audio production with insanely diverse set of top of the line gear and many rooms (the most expensive thing I know of is a board worth a couple of million but beyond that some stuff is upwards of 50k but never more than that really). If we exclude buying property over 10 million... otherwise I might get some islands or huge tracks of land not for really using per se just to have and/or preserve for future generations.

I think that is the best answer. To buy land to preserve is a worthy cause imo.
To set up the sound rooms sounds like a lot of fun!

I played the mega-bucks once. The first thing I think about if I ever had too much money it to share it with all the many, many people I know who don't have enough. It's all those coffees they buy, I am sure.
