You know that in 451 days I am sending you a bottle of some of my home-brew....;)
I was given a brew kit once for Christmas, and when I finally got around to opening it, I realized it didn't come with any of the hops and other ingredients needed. So it still sits untouched :(

Pity.
I find the precise process and patience needed in beer brewing to have a very calming effect on me.
Not to mention enjoying the end result.;)

So, do you still believe in this end of world scenario?
Somewhere inside, yes I suppose I do.
However, since joining the RF, I have come to realize that if there is a God, it is not the God I thought I understood. In my opinion now, God has to be accepted as something we can't comprehend, yet fully accept as just being there.

In other words, God's nature if infinite demands a simple acceptance rather than a comprehension. For the mere fact, we can not rationalize the infinite as much as we try.

The importance of this to me, is when we are discussing things like "why does God allow evil?" or "why doesn't God just show God's self?"
Basically, questions about God that from a mortal or finite perspective seem like reasonable questions and simple to answer, God is either good or God is evil.

Yet, trying reduce infinity to either good or evil, and then having a consensus on what defines good or evil is impossible for us to do. If we can't define infinity as a concept, than I accept we can't define why God would do such things (at least in terms humans think about).

Finally, the bottom line is, if we try to understand God in terms that humans comprehend, God is no longer God, and just becomes something that is either good or bad, according to our limited understanding. So, I leave God alone because of that, read scriptures from religions, and meditate on them, accepting them for what they are.

Then of course try to have lots of fun until my death, and try to love as much as I can :D
