I know several japanese phrases. Those were easy. Lots of Stix fans know how to say "Thank You" in japanese. I also know many swear words and phrases in french, russian, and german.
Learning the actual languages is much harder.

That is one of the worst translations I have ever read- and I've pawed through "English as She is Spoke." I'd be far more helpful if I had my own Quran with me (which is in Arabic) or could get my broswer to display Arabic, something which it seems dead set against.

But really, way to go twisting things for some agenda. It makes me sick.

to you all,I swear to God that i didn't mean to offend anyone and yes it was a terrorist murderous attack and there is no real moslem that can kill 6000 innocent people in just one second,the cowards who were responsible for 9/11 were not moslems but were criminals,i just wanted to let you know that the qur'an predicted something before it happened by more than 1400 years which is one of many evidences that the qur'an is from God

This is quite possibly the most stupid, twisted thing I have ever had the misfortune of reading on this site.
If you need the blood of innocents to justify the existence of your god, it doesn't say much for you.

I will say here what I say with any kind of prediction. Whether it be Nostradamus, The Bible, The Koran, or your cousin...a prediction is something that comes before hand and not after.

What I mean is that once you know what you are looking for it's easy to go back into almost any works, and find something that if twisted and translated enough, will describe whatever you want it to. Now if you can translate it before hand, that would be a prediction.

There are to many works, and 'predictions' about to many things, by to many people that are all very vague and all are only noticed after the fact. If God wanted to warn/tell about something to people, why not just say 'Hey, such and such will happen at such and such time'. That way there is no guessing, or interpreting. Not to mention, wouldn't that be really great evidence of a God or psycic powers if they predict it (doesn't even have to be a specific time, just an event or something) and then even with prior knowledge and security, said thing still happens?

So my point is, I don't believe it. But if you want to point out another passage that tells us when something else is going to happen, that hasn't yet happened, and then it happens...then I will listen.

Well said. All prophecies were fullfilled by pure interpretation. Including the virgin birth etc.

i don't know why this angered some of you,i didn't mean at all to use the blood of innocent people and i said the cowards who were reponsible for that where criminals not moslems,i only found something miraculous in the qur'an and i wanted to let you know about it and this is not the only miraculous thing in the qur'an there are so many more,i only picked 9/11 as a beginning because all westerns know about it well,my native toungue is arabic and i told you that translation wont do and the arabic language is not difficult

Okay, thats fair enough.
I apologise, I jumped the gun as i've heard many so called prophecies indicating terrible times, and it's all a load of crap in my opinion.

Any piece of literature, whether it's the Bible, the Koran or Moby Dick, can be twisted to fit any interpretation a person wants it to make.

All I want is peace, be that with or without God.

Well, I guess so. Let's see, Mohammed writes a prophecy long ago. His followers set about fulfilling it for centuries. There is a current event of this. Ahah! Prophecy fulfilled. Yeah, this sure makes me want to speak Arabic.

If your native language is Arabic, how can you know how easy it is to learn? To me, English was easy to learn because I grew up knowing it, but many people say English is hard as a second language.

because i grew up to speak a certain accent of arabic which isn't the accent of the qur'an and it was very easy for me to learn english as a second language and i speak english with an excellent american accent,this came from watching american movies and listening to american songs,you can watch some historic arabian movies and series,read some,learn some rules and first of all ask God to subvene(i don't know wether this is the exact meaning or not of the word)you and everything will be fine ishaAllah

Watching movies and listening to music does not in any way represent a culture or really let you learn the language. If you learn languages that way, you speak as actors speak... not as regular people do.

Point being the translation you did and your posts: I find them poor, since they pretty much ignore grammar and sentence structure. I don't mean to say this to cause offense, since I understand learning a second language is hard and that when I was learning French people in France probably would have laughed their butts off at my attempts.

I had a point in there somewhere, but I seem to have forgotten it.

no i can pay attention to grammar rules and structure if only i revise my english books,but that's pretty annoying,but when it comes to God anyone has to do his best to keep up with the language of the book that has his word and believe me if you ask God to subvene you then it will be fine or "cool" as you americans say
