Fine and good....I too have let go....(rogue theologian).
The scriptures are indeed a crutch.....tucked under your arm to help you walk upright.
You could spend your entire life studying (and coping) with any chosen copy.
And at the end of your days...would you be any better off?
Setting aside all belief in spiritual life?....I cannot do.
I believe in life after death.
I believe there will be hierarchy.
I retain belief in God.
I simply refrain the dogma and ritual.
