I happened upon this video on Youtube that sounded like a joke but is actually quite thoughtful. Please watch and give your thoughts. It's pretty tough on both Christian and Muslim ideas of God.

This reminds me of my question of if christians would give up something of value for the well-being of another. Didn't know others thought of that question too. Hmm.

So only atheists have integrity?

Also, isn't this just another imagined concept of God?

Otherwise, honestly, it was entertaining.

Entertaining yes, but to me it thoughtfully addresses the question of whether we have inadvertently reduced God to a set of rules to fit the way we (humanity in general) thinks He should be. Otherwise, have we not to an extent, created God in our own image? Not saying the video is right in its assumptions, but it does make one think, or at least it did me.

Hello friend.

The expression of Hell and Heaven(paradise) is exist in both religions ,some scholar including Dr Adnan Ibrahim said Hell is temporary.

For punishing people whom don't believe in Him,some said depend the person understanding ,IF he/she knows the truth but reject it as arrogance or disobey , that could be risk to be punished.

If she/he don't know the truth ,God may will test their hearts and see their acts (deed)

There is good people and bad people ,everyone will get what he/she deserve.

That's my thoughts,and understanding.
God knows better :)

I think that's an excellent point. With very few exceptions, I think we all have a mental image of God that we've constructed. We can at least hopefully acknowledge that we're doing this out of our ignorance.

One of the best youtubes on spirituality IMO. Pretty much how I see it, and what my Master taught me.
And wonderfully done. Nice movie and in just a few minutes the essence of Truth/Love is explained.

42:1 Then Job answered and said to the Lord, 2 "I know that thou canst do all things, and nothing is impossible with Thee. 3 For who is he that hides counsel from Thee? or who keeps back his words, and thinks to hide them from Thee? and who will tell me what I knew not, great and wonderful things which I understood not? 4 But hear me, O Lord, that I also may speak: and I will ask Thee, and do Thou teach me. 5 I have heard the report of Thee by the ear before; but now mine eye has seen Thee. 6 Wherefore I have counted myself vile, and have fainted: and I esteem myself dust and ashes."
7 And it came to pass after the Lord had spoken all these words to Job, that the Lord said to Eliphaz the Thaemanite, "Thou hast sinned, and thy two friends: for ye have not said anything true before me, as my servant Job has."

Hi David, Thank you for sharing this video.
I’ve just had a couple of days talking to ‘Christians’ who thought my religion wa a creation of Satan and I was deluded. Here’s one of the Teachings of the Baha’i Faith:

And among the teachings of Bahá’u’lláh is that religion must be the cause of fellowship and love. If it becomes the cause of estrangement then it is not needed, for religion is like a remedy; if it aggravates the disease then it becomes unnecessary.

Thanks for reminding me that there’s still plenty of decent Christians around.:)

Words of wisdom. I have often said that if a persons religion causes them to be mean to others, then they are better off without it. IMHO of course. As always, thanks for your thoughtful response.:)

Science, speaking as the voice of God in that video, says that one sort of person isn't to think one sort of thing... but science IS that one sort, and is even presuming to speak for the God it doesn't even believe.
About which God would have more than even this to say:

"Thou hast sinned, and thy two friends: for ye have not said anything true before Me, as my servant Job has."

As to the comments... Spirituality is an as-you-like-it event, detrmined by the character of the so-called spiritualist, without limits or rules. "Do as thou wilt shall be the whole of the law." Which is pretty much what Paulianity says, too.
[But it's not at all what the sheep of Jesus believe. True Christ-followers keep Jesus' commandments and have the testimony of His life to witness.]

And you wrong the scientist, too... some have discovered that the closer they look into the science of creation, the less the microscope reveals... leading some to see the organization of the intelligent Creator.

History has shown at those times God sends His Messenger ;)

I see the world did reach that time.

God has become a/the claimed authority for people to get others to follow laws they themselves created.
