I believe!

A Christian is a follower of Jesus Christ our Lord and God.

(Romans 1:1) “From Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle.”

As Paul said, a servant of Christ Jesus, a servant who obeys God at all times.

(1 John 2:6) “But if anyone obeys his word, God’s love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did”

A Christian is one who has been born of God.

(1 John 3:9) “No one who has been begotten by God sins; because God’s seed remains inside him, he cannot sin when he has been begotten by God.”

(1 John 3:9-10) “No one who is a child of God sins because God's seed remains in him. Nor can he sin, because he is a child of God. This is what distinguishes the children of God from the children of the devil: whoever does not live uprightly and does not love his brother is not

Some good books for Christians are...
The Jesus Mission

You left out the written Word of God.

Remember if one allows the Holy Spirit to teach him or her, then there is no need to read anyone else’s understanding of God.

(1 John 2: 27) “But you have not lost the anointing that he gave you, and you do not need anyone to teach you; the anointing he gave teaches you everything: you are anointed with truth, not with a lie, and as it has taught you, so you must stay in him.”

there is a difference between begotten and born. a person may be begotten of God but will be born of God at the resurrection. so a Christian is one who is begotten of God but no one has yet been born of God except Jesus who already overcame death

Begotten by God.

(John 3:3-8) “3 Jesus answered: In all truth I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God without being born from above. Nicodemus said, 'How can anyone who is already old be born? Is it possible to go back into the womb again and be born?' Jesus replied: In all truth I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God without being born through water and the Spirit; what is born of human nature is human; what is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not be surprised when I say: You must be born from above. The wind blows where it pleases; you can hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

when an egg and sperm join a new baby is "begotten" but it is not born for nine months. when God's spirit joins with the human spirit a new "being" is "begotten" but that being is not born until Jesus returns and the dead rise from thier graves. that is when they are "born again". all these people who jump around and shout that they are "born again are realy "begotten" of God not "born. the first birth is physical and the first death is physical. the second birth will be spiritual and the second death will be for those who do not qualify for a place in God's kingdom
