A Lone Wolf in The Deadly Desert?

As far as deciding whether to work alone or with a group, I had been ignorant of just how much is taking place via the Internet.

One of the most important functions of conventional orders (besides others, like making money, brainwashing the stupid newbies, boosting the ego of those running the show, ..) is making contacs. Well on the net, you never know whether someone actually is worth to know or not, but orders exceeding a certain number of members will have their non-starters, too - and they tend to make career because that is what they are longing for, if not otherwise in real life, then in some occult niche.

Given that there just IS no big shiny secret (the only secret is that there is no secret), that leaves orders with the function of contact-making platform for meeting interesting people. But you can have that on the net, too, plus that you inevitably will learn to spot the real McCoys (which is a valuable ability in itself).

While internet discussions cannot replace real life activities, they can fully serve to meet interesting people.

Putting a spell around you for attracting strange people of all kinds will also help a great deal. Whereever I go, I end up in a bunch of freaks, forcing me to look up words like "boring" at wikipedia (-;

Remember, "reason is copy, but madness is the original"..!
