Maybe God isn't done yet.Wouldn't the true miracle have been God giving the kid a full brain?
How could a person even determine or tell if it's a maricle from God in the first place and not a persons biology ?
What would be an identifier?
I am confused.Baby born without a brain amazes doctors by celebrating his second birthday - and says 'mummy' for the first time
- Emma Murray, 24, was told of her son's condition minutes after giving birth
- Aaron was diagnosed with rare health disorder called holoprosencephaly
- He was born with a brain stem so can move and breathe but not a full brain
- She was told Aaron could die in minutes and helped arrange baptism
- Two years on, Aaron has amazed doctors - and has spoken his first word

Do you believe it to be a miracle or it's explainable by science ?
I am confused.
What message?
Yeah, he's just experimenting with the poor kid just to see . . . . er . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . need a good reason here. . . . . . . . What ya got?Maybe God isn't done yet.
As if everything not explained by science is automatically a miracle. Get real my friend.Baby born without a brain amazes doctors by celebrating his second birthday - and says 'mummy' for the first time

The way you asked the question, I can't answer it.Do you believe it to be a miracle or it's explainable by science ?
A miracle...Doctor Saint Frankenstein teaching us about the human body since 2012. I guess there are positives to being one of the undead! That article isn't correct. He isn't completely missing his forebrain and midbrain. Holoprosencephaly is not the same as anencephaly. You can tell that just from the fact that he isn't missing his head above his eyebrows, such as those with anencephaly are. Stupid journalists would do well to look on Wikipedia before publishing such incorrect crap.
"Holoprosencephaly (HPE, once known as arhinencephaly) is a cephalic disorder in which the prosencephalon (the forebrain of the embryo) fails to develop into two hemispheres. Normally, the forebrain is formed and the face begins to develop in the fifth and sixth weeks of human pregnancy. The condition also occurs in other species.
The condition can be mild or severe. According to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), "in most cases of holoprosencephaly, the malformations are so severe that babies die before birth."[1]
When the embryo's forebrain does not divide to form bilateral cerebral hemispheres (the left and right halves of the brain), it causes defects in the development of the face and in brain structure and function.
In less severe cases, babies are born with normal or near-normal brain development and facial deformities that may affect the eyes, nose, and upper lip."

Regardless of that, good for the little guy.
That's atleast the second-most empty-headed thing in this thread. The Lord taketh away, and the Lord giveth?
Well considering how unlikely it would be had the doctors not been trying to keep him alive, probably explainable by science. Now if he cartwheeled out of the womb with a song and dance routine; that would fall somewhere in the miracle category.
I could wile away the hours
Conferrin' with the flowers
Consultin' with the rain
And my head I'd be scratchin'
While my thoughts were busy hatchin'
If I only had ..........
Personally, I really don't care what sort of child one wishes to attempt raising. It bothers me though that people treat this as a blow to medical science, despite the fact it is medical science that is making anything at all possible, and that also, this is nothing new and people have lived with the disease and others like it before. The oldest person recorded with it is 33, just to give you an idea...
Then we have to blame your media for keep lying.
It's not mysterious to anyone that the overwhelming majority of news routinely sensationalizes and misrepresents a host of topics. Here, anyone can start a newspaper and more or less print whatever nonsense they wish to. Then they have to compete with one another for a consumer base with an attention span of about 5 seconds and a reading level of a primary student. So, it's not a surprise to me that the Daily Mail, which is notoriously known for it's tabloid like style, makes the mundane seem miraculous. That's how you make money. It's British btw, and I am not, so I'm not quite sure how it's my media, but whatever.
"The prognosis for a child born with hydranencephaly is presented as very poor: death in utero, within weeks, or no longer than a year. While some children given this diagnosis may not survive past their first birthday, each case is unique and there are a growing number of cases where children can defy this prognosis and live several years. The oldest individual with a confirmed case of hydranencephaly celebrated his 33rd birthday before his passing."

Even then, from the story:
"Brandon said: 'It was very emotional. I remember holding him on day two and listening to the doctors say my son would probably never walk, never talk, never know when he's hungry, or never hear or see. They really did not expect him to make it.'
Following multiple hospital visits and a two-month scare of multiple seizures, inconsolable screaming, and feeding tube issues, Jaxon was taken to the emergency room at Boston Children's Hospital, a top U.S. hospital for pediatric neurology, in August.
They went in with the unknown and came out with a burst of hope: a true diagnosis – Microhydranencephaly - and new medicine that has since eased Jaxon's condition and made him a lot happier."
Ah, what a medic... a miracle, I mean....
