The old may die at a greater rate... but...

Is that okay? Are old people expendable?

"Yeah, it killed granny, and three of her friends, but its okay, because they're all over 75".

I'm not sure why some people seem to be reassured by this. And then of course, there are the random healthy young folks that pass, too...

Reading comprehension please. The person I replied to said it was like Russian Roulette or completely random. I simply was pointing out that it wasn't random and that old people were especially vulnerable.

You're arguing with a straw man.

You seem to really enjoy the death and suffering of others.

Enjoy.... No.

Understand and Respect Death's significance, Yes.

I regret our inept administrations response to this pandemic.

But I also understand that we get what we deserve, by voting in the idiot ****ers we do.

So maybe, just maybe, enough deaths and suffering, will open eyes to Reality, even if only a crack, enough to let in the Light.

You're mistaking my laughter at your ignorance, to laughing at the suffering and death of others. I have hospitalized seriously ill family that is thanks to this virus.

Wow, that is naive belief. *** mod edit *** Ever bother to read Ecclesiastes?

So you're saying that since Trump has gotten a long life, wealth, three beautiful women as wives, a number of children, and the adoration of millions of fans, it's because he deserves it?

And I guess JFK got what he deserved and, of course, Jesus got what he deserved.

Whether you agree or disagree, there's really no reason to be rude.

I wasn't rude at all. I simply asked that you be careful with your reading.

You were actually being rude because you misrepresented what I said. I assumed this was simply because you had done so mistakenly as oppose to purposefully.

With your post afterwards, I did indeed see that I had misunderstood what you were getting at. Was reading comprehension an issue? Perhaps, I'd just woken up.

Though I must say, having a child with reading comprehension difficulties, when one mentions something of the sort, it is usually seen as detrimental or hurtful(unless you're in a setting in which the lack of reading comprehension itself is being discussed). If you don't see that as detrimental or hurtful, that's perfectly fine, but please be aware others may view it as such.

No, but he sure deserved his covid case, he also deserved to die from it.

But that's just my 2¢

What I am saying is 50% of the country thought a Con Artist and a Showman was the most Presidential thing they have ever seen.

We elect Chaos, Disorder and Mismanagement, and we Deserve Chaos, Disorder and Mismanagement.

Trump has all of those things because his family handed it to him, he couldn't get those things on his own, with a $1 million, loan. Obviously, look at his taxes hahahahaha.

Why does every thread that remotely involves COVID devolve into a bickering match about how bad it is and whether we should take it seriously?

Honestly, folks?

If you don't care about COVID, or think trying to prevent it is fascist, or whatever other nonsense...go your merry way. We don't need your flippant negativity.

So, you took what a complete stranger said very personally.

I'm sorry I hurt you feelings. That was not my intention.

Not very personally. Just not the first thing I wanted to be confronted with after waking up.

Glad we could clear that up. And I'm sorry if I misrepresented you in any way.
