Well it seems the public is starting to b**** slap the SJW and PC crowd back to where they belong. Good riddance I say.
Translation: "I hate when them uppity minorities and women start demanding that we treat them like human beings with at least basic dignity and I resent the fact that a black man was in the White House, so this racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, xenophobic backlash among angry white people makes me so happy!"

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.

I just didn't want black Nazi women in my video games. Breaks the immersion.

Yeah, although most of them love money more than they love God, so their religion doesn't mean much.
That's far too glib for you.
Maybe she was a misanthrope who hated everybody.
No....she strikes me as a high functioning
autism kind of not getting along with people.
Well, you're right. I tried it and got the same thing. Although it also had "ayn rand hated communists." It's pretty much a given that she'd hate communists. But libertarians? I never heard that before.

She probably hated raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens.
I don't recall her reasons for hating libertarians.
But it's not quite useful enuf to re-investigate.

It's just a curiosity, that's all. Maybe she saw the libertarians as competition.

Yea, it is written in the Book of Cyril...
Link? How do you take what you see and hear and put a link to it?

It's not only all over the media, but I can see it in my home town. Never saw so many "now hiring" signs in my area and constructing of new buildings. That with a great 401K report, and the first SS cost of living raise in many years is a good sign to me. I was asked the question and I answered. I can't say what others see and hear in their areas.

I meant to also add, it wasn't all Trump that defeated ISIS, but Mattis did play a part in working along side the others. It was the Russians, Turks and Iran as well. Trump is getting ready to hand the US involvement to the three to figure out. A good move, as we have done enough damage over the decades there.

Our media is so divided, the best way to find the real stories are aljazeera for the MI, and Pravda for Russia.
Um... Iraq. Iraq "defeated" ISIS. But anyway... if you don't understand the concept of a causal link, I'm... well, not really sure how to start explaining it to you, frankly. Basically, though, just because something happens while something else happens, doesn't mean the two are related. There needs to be some sort of identifiable mechanism between the two.

Here's my thing about MAGA. Isn't it really a requirement for all politicians?

It's a great slogan. I'll give him credit for that.
The first three letters, sure: making your country better is a pretty good thing for a politician to do.

The last letter, though... that’s the one that’s problematic: “make America great again.” IOW, “make America like it was at some point in the past when it was not just ‘great’ but better than it is now.”

When you ask what time “again” refers to, that’s when the trouble happens. What time period is “MAGA” trying to replicate? What was life actually like then... and why should we see this as not just “great” but something Americans should aspire to now?

I don't know if I would regard the founding fathers of our nation, who enshrined rights, freedom, and equality within the constitution, as having been "sjw" or "pc". No, the ones who need to be *****ed slapped back to where they belong are the religious fundamentalists, the scientifically illiterate, the redneck bigots, and the two-faced "patriots" who crap all over the values and virtues that this nation was actually founded upon.
We need reach back and give them five across the eyes, knocking the goofy "MAGA" hats off their heads, and then make them pump our gas in silence to get some actual use out of them. :D

Iraq went into Syria? Kinda doubt it. Iraqi's are ground troops. They liberated Iraq after air campaigns by the US.

Syria was where ISIS originated. Russia owns the sky there. We assisted in Syria, and Trump wants us out, now that it is stabilizing under Russia. Assad will win, we leave.

Iraq didn't defeat ISIS.

The time period where the Klan was rampant and minorities had no rights. It even helps to copy slogans from the same time period. (1920's)

FACT CHECK: Was 'America First' a Slogan of the Ku Klux Klan?

Fair enough.

Greatness is subjective. I personally think USA or at least the itsy bitsy world I live in, inside the USA is great.

The thing that comes to my mind is vibrant industry, a good economy. Available and plentiful good paying jobs that you can spend your life with and retire from with a decent pension. I think the thirties and forties and 50s aside from the Great Depression were the highlights of when America was great in that respect.
